Can y’all believe this is the LAST day of 2019, then it’s going to be a NEW decade!!

In one way, it feels like 2019 just started and in another way, it feels like so much has happened this year!

This is one of my all time FAVORITE posts because I do a little recap of our year by listing a few things that we did each month!!

So without further ado, our 2019…

January

We rang in the New Year with Ashley and Logan in Sparkle City! ~ We flew to Dallas for Nick and Mary Grace’s wedding ~ Ace turned 6 ~ We had some low key, cozy weekends!

February

In February, we celebrated Valentine’s Day, low- key at home ~ Did some fun photo shoots with some of my favorite girls ~ Ace had issues with his ears this month ~ We made a weekend trip to the coast to visit Isle of Palms ~ I threw a surprise party for my sister’s 30th birthday~

March

In March,  we celebrated mom’s birthday ~ had a weekend in Charlotte with Ashley and Logan ~ celebrated St. Patrick’s Day in downtown Spartanburg ~ celebrated Brittney, the bride to be, at her bridal shower ~ we had some warm days outside with Ace!

…and at the very end of March, we lost Harry’s precious Nana. Words will never explain how much her family misses her. She was truly a one of a kind. I miss her cuban accent the most! We love you so much Nana!

 

April

In April, I went to Nashville for the first time for Brittney’s bachelorette weekend ~ later that month, Brittney got married ~ We celebrated Easter ~ The new worship center at our church opened this month!

 

May

In May, I attended Spartanburg’s Best of the Best event with my girls from Southern Charm Boutique where I model clothes ~ I had a girls night with my favorites AnnaVee & Chelsea in Charlotte ~ I wrapped up my 4th year of teaching & Harry suprised me at our end of the year program! ~ I also started teaching online with VIP Kid this month!

At the end of May, we lost my precious MeMe. There are no words to describe how it feels to grieve her loss. We were really close, really, really, close. MeMe celebrated her first birthday in heaven a few days ago. We are clinging to the fact that she is completely healed and she’s with Jesus.

June

In June, I enjoyed being on summer break ~ We took PaPaw to our favorite local restaurant in Clover, The Grill to celebrate the start of summer ~ We attended Spartanburg’s annual Pickin in the Park event ~ We spent a week in the Isle of Palms ~ I spent time with my favorite Chelsea’s in Charleston ~ This month also marks TEN years since I graudated high school!

July

In July, we celebrated the 4th at the Lake ~ Celebrated Brittany’s birthday in Charlotte ~ Celebrated my 28th birthday here in Spartanburg ~ We took a family beach trip this month!

August

In August, we celebrated Ethan’s birthday ~ Ethan also had a football jamboree in Spartanburg ~ wrapped up summer ~ I started my 5th year of teaching!

September

In September, baby Eleanor was born! She is SO perfect! ~ We also spent time at different apple orchards with family ~ All of the fall things!

 

October

In October, my sister got engaged ~ We had Storybook Character Day at work ~ We went to Charleston to celebrate Chelsea’s engagement ~ Attended an outdoor country concert ~ Went to the fair ~ Harry traveled a lot for work this month ~ Harry also took his annual shrimping trip with his dad and brothers ~ Celebrated Halloween which marked 5 years since we got engaged!!

 

November

In November, we were surrounded by football! ~ We had a weekend in Clover to watch LSU beat Alabama ~ We attended a home, Clover game ~ Celebrated Thanksgiving ~ We went to the SC/ Clemson game ~ Started doing all the Christmas things!

 

December

In December, we went to NYC!! ~ We celebrated Harry’s birthday ~ My fam came to Spartanburg for a fun, festive, Christmas weekend ~ AnnaVee & I went to see the Nutcracker ~ We celebrated Christmas with both of our families ~ Following Christmas, I caught the flu!

And that was our year!! It was filled with a lot fun, exciting moments. This year brought travel and a sweet baby niece for us! It was also filled with sadness and loss. Harry and I both lost our grandmothers this year and that was hard. We had to really rely on our faith during those difficult times and trust in God’s plan, which we 100% do!

We are excited for a NEW YEAR!! Thank you for following along on this online journey of mine during, 2019! I try to keep this a bright/ light spot on the internet! 🙂
