Today, marks 10 years since I graduated high school!
That’s right, TEN!!
On one hand it feels like so much has happened since then and on the other hand, I feel like I blinked and we went from 2009 to 2019!
I can remember everything like it was yesterday!
Today, I thought I would blog about high school and post some flashback photos!!

My first prom, sophomore year!
I cheered all throughout high school! My sister and I cheered on varsity together my sophomore year/ her senior year!
Me, Morgan, & Kacy! The 3 of us were inseparable!! (side note: I use to be obsessed with American Idol and I went to a concert to see the top 12 perform one year and I brought them back the t-shirts they’re wearing LOL!)
Morgan and I were always up to something ridiculous LOL! How cool was her room back then??
My little brother Ethan was born my sophomore year of high school! Look how teeeeny he was!

Now a few quick questions regarding high school….
-What kind of music did you listen to? Country.. I was a huge Carrie Underwood fan in high school and still am now!
-What was your favorite show to watch on tv? The Bachelor… some things really never change
-What kind of car did you drive? An old Chevrolet blazer
-Where were you on Friday nights? The football stadium and El Mexicano after (We ate there so much that the owner brought his family to one of our cheerleading competitions!)
-What was your favorite subject? Umm… Fashion Merchandise?
-Who was your favorite teacher? That’s easy.. Frank Falls! I can’t even begin to describe him but if you went to my high school then you understand LOL! He’s hilarious!
-Who was your celebrity crush? Oh that’s easy, Chad Michael Murray
-How did you spend your free time? When I was not in school or at cheerleading, I was likely with Morgan and Kacy. We use to ride around in Morgan’s mustang covertable with the top back listening to music! Young, wild, and free lol
-What is one memory that you have from high school? I remember being out of school a week because I had the flu and when I came back to school I talked A LOT!! I got in trouble and had to move seats! That was like the one and only time I ever got in trouble! haha
-What is something you would tell your high school self? Don’t wish your life away! Enjoy every moment! We would always hear grown-ups say, “life goes by way too fast.” The grown- ups were right though.. you blink and it’s been TEN years! I would say, don’t worry so much about your next step in life, enjoy your current situation and what God has given you right NOW!
Still can’t believe it’s been TEN whole years! I’m so thankful for the town, school, and people who shaped me!
