It’s a birthday blog post!!

Which means it’s also my blog anniversary!

That’s right! I began blogging on my 25th birthday and this is my 35th birthday!

An entire decade of blogging. Wow!

It’s such a fun hobby that I have loved for 10 years now! I’ve been able to share my life, share things that I love, connect with so many old and new friends, and SO, SO much more!

It’s also neat to look back on because I began my blog right after I got married. This blog has been my life story from getting married, my career, becoming a mom, and thousands of memories in between!

I love blogging because this space feels like mine. Like all social media could stop but this would still exist because it’s mine!

I’m not sure when I’ll stop blogging. Right now, it still fills my cup with so much joy!

With that being said, let’s talk about turning 35 because it was a fun one!

We had dinner at my in loves house with Aunt Rosie (aka my sister in love) in town, a few days prior to my birthday and they surprised me with cake, candles, and sang HBD! ❤️

My mom and step dad were also in town a couple days prior to my birthday and we went to Top Golf!

On birthday eve, I had an annual birthday dinner with my bestie girl!

I love our annual birthday dinners together!

AnnaVee and I spent my birthday eve at Level 10 in Spartanburg! I haven’t been here in so long and it did not disappoint! The food, the drinks, the view, the company.. all so great! 🩷

Birthday tradition continues in our fam with a birthday cookie cake! Thanks boys!

I also love that so many still send birthday cards in the mail! 🥰

This was also our first real lake day since Hurricane Helene. The lake reopened this summer for the first time in nearly two years.

It looked absolutely beautiful! God is SO good!

…and that is how I spent my 35th birthday!

I can’t wait to see what God has in store for the year ahead and I’m very excited to spend it with you all here in blog world!
