Red, White, BREW- 2022

Hello!!!

I hope y’all had an amazing 4th of July holiday!

We had the best weekend celebrating the 4th and I’m back on the blog today to recap all of the fun!

Home sweet home!

Usually we are not home for the 4th of July. Last summer, Brewer was sick on the 4th so we stayed home and it was really sweet celebrating the 4th right here at home! Our neighborhood has amazing fireworks so we decided to be home again this year!

We did make a few day trips because Harry had several days off work for the 4th!

On Friday, we made a day trip to the lake!

This Mountain View at Lake Lure will never get old!

I can’t wait to make so many fun memories here with our Brew Brew!

Friday evening, we took Brewer to DaDa’s old stomping grounds, the former Spartan High, track!

That sweet little face!

We love bringing Brewer to play at the track!

We’re making the sweetest little memories this summer!

My boys!

Someone was tired after a fun Friday!

Saturday morning, we went to Clover and Harry helped Ethan finish his Eagle Scout project! Ethan is so close to getting his Eagle Scout (what you earn after years & years of Boy Scouts!)

Look at this cutie little helper!

Gaga pit: complete!

We’re so proud of you, Ethan!

We went to PaPas Doc on Lake Wylie to celebrate with the boys & my mom- aka, Nana!

My baby boy!

Two peas in a pod!

Brewer loves Uncle EE!

We loved having lunch on the water back in my hometown with family!

We ended the night with the first round of neighborhood fireworks back at our house! Chocolate covered strawberries & red wine for the win!

On Sunday after church, we went to Hometeam BBQ in Greenville! We’ve been to the location in Charleston and this was our first time visiting the location in Greenville! It was great!

BBQ is a must for July 4th weekend!

Red, white, blue, & BBQ!

Sunday afternoon/ evening was spent playing in the backyard! This water table has been a big win this summer!

As well as the sandbox! Brewer is obsessed!

That night, we roasted marshmallows and made s’mores! So YUM!

I get asked about my patriotic pillows a lot! I found these two summers ago at Target!

Summer lovin!

Cheers!

The sunset was incredible that night! We have a little view of the mountains here at home! Gods masterpiece of creation is truly incredible!

The fireworks were amazing!! Brewer slept straight through them each night! Harry & I had the best time rocking in our front porch chairs each night for firework shows!

It’s Independence Day!

We woke up on Monday, July 4th and I made fun pancakes to start the day!

Baby, you look like the 4th of July!

Brewer looks like he is seeing stars! Lol

I love this little family of mine SO much!

We went to Harry’s parents house and had July 4th dinner with his family!

Brewer loved the splash pad that Harry’s mom bought for him- aka, Honey!

He loved the pool, too!

I can’t even with that little face! He’s making me melt this Fourth of July!

Watch Brewer live his best life on the splash pad! Lol

He could play in the water for hours and he did!

Back at home, sun is setting, Jammie’s are on, glass of red in hand, and we were ready for fireworks round 3!

I love you so much! ❤️

On Tuesday morning, Brewer said a very SPECIAL word! He can officially say his name and the word strawberry! This video will melt your heart! This little firework baby is poppin’ off a word a day, lately!

Harry had Tuesday off work so we planned a family fun day!

We went to visit something new! We went to Unity Park in Greenville! It’s SO pretty!

I love visiting new places and having new adventures with our best buddy!

Unity Park has a big playground and splash pad! It’s a little advanced for Brewer right now but we LOVED walking through the park! It’s a great place for a picnic too! Brewer will love the playground there when he’s a little older!

Then, we popped over to the Childrens Museum!

Look at those sweet flowers for mama! 😉

Brewer was OBSESSED with the little shopping buggy!

He loved the car too!!

And the water play area!

It was really neat being at the Childrens Museum in Greenville with Brewer because I have brought countless students here on field trips over the years!

I think the Spartanburg museum is more geared toward Brewer’s age/ toddlers! Everything is low to the ground/ Brewer’s height and of course it’s a lot smaller. The one in Greenville is a lot bigger! Parts of it were great for Brewer and parts of it will be great for years to come! It’s really for all ages! Both museums are great!

We had the best day with our little firework baby!

It was a holiday weekend to remember! I hope y’all made sweet memories with your families too!

**Due to it being a holiday week & I’ve been soaking up extra time with my little family, this is my only blog post this week. However, I will have THREE posts next week! Look for the first one on Monday!**
