It’s been a while since I’ve blogged a “life lately” post, so let’s get caught up over here!
I’m over here hanging on to my last bit of summer break!!

Most of you know that my grandmother gained her angel wings several months ago. We lost her to a terrible disease called dementia but we know that she has won on the other side of heaven! She is now pain free and her memory is back!

Since her passing, I’ve been going home a good bit to Clover. I’ve been spending some time with my PaPaw and my younger brother & cousin, who are also on summer break! Family is everything to me!
My family also came to Spartanburg a few weekends ago. Harry grilled burgers and we just hung out! The only photo I took that evening was this photo of the doggies!
Did I mention I’m a doggie aunt? This is my sisters dog, Dublin! He was so tiny in this picture!!
I’m going to be an aunt to a sweet neice soon too! My brother and his fiance, Emily are expecting a sweet baby girl this fall!
My family took a beach trip last week to Cherry Grove Beach!
It was a great getaway! We beached it all day, rode the golf cart, laid by the pool, made dinner at the house, went out to dinner, did some shopping, and laughed a lot.

While we were in Charleston, we spent time with friends!! About a week after being home, Chelsea face timed me to say her and Scott are engaged!! Ahh!! I’m so happy they found each other and can’t wait for the wedding!! Let’s get this party started!!
Harry has been doing all sorts of work to the outside of our house lately! He’s pressure washed, put mulch out, and we are beginning to do some work to the backyard!
I’ve been to my classroom a couple of times over the past week to get ready for the upcoming school year! Y’all this meme is SO me!! LOL! I can not focus if things are not organized and in its place! I’m like this at home and at work!!
This was my precious class this past school year and now they are off to Kindergarten!
I’m looking forward to a new school year with the best assistant!

Alright, before I leave, who watched The Bachelorette finale? My thoughts have been all over the place with this season! If you watch the show, then you know what I mean. It’s been A LOT! Last night, I felt bad for Hannah. I know that’s not the ending she was hoping for! I think Tyler is great though! Do y’all think they will hit it off when they “grab drinks?” Let me know your thoughts in the comment section!
