Spring… part 2!

HelloOoOo!!

I’m back today for spring part 2!!

If you missed yesterday’s post, you can find spring part 1.. here!

I’ve had a lot of spring sweetness to catch up on!

I’ve always felt like spring is a slower season for us because we don’t have anything “big” happening in our family this time of year but I’m learning why it’s called “May-cember!” There are so many fun & busy things that take place to round out the school year this time of year.

I’m picking up today’s post for “spring part 2” with a sweet spring field trip with Brewer and his class. We went to a local ranch and had fun petting mini horses, playing games, and being in nature. This was such a great idea for a field trip!

After the field trip, Brewer and I stopped at a local coffee shop for a little day date!

That evening, we were back at Brewer’s school for a fun filled spring carnival!

In the spring, I love savoring the slow, simple moments like stopping for honeysuckle on our evening walks!

…and the rose bushes are back! It’s been (almost) 2 years since we planted these in the backyard. It’s been so fun watching them grow!

A couple weeks ago, I had face to face testing with my work family! I absolutely love the people I work with and testing week is always something I look forward to! At the end of testing week, Harry picked up sushi to celebrate the week and kick off Mother’s Day weekend!

The next day on Saturday, we spent the afternoon in Clover!

We went to the local Strawberry patch, Bush N Vine! The boys played, played, played and we watched colorful, private planes flying around. That was cool!

My favorite sandals are linked, here!

We ate our strawberries on a quilt while running in the green grass!

We had a great day 🙂

Mother’s Day morning, off to church!

The best kind of gifts are made at school and church ❤

Random.. I requested birthday plates this year for Mother’s Day to display them during the boy’s birthday seasons! I love how they turned out!

We had a pool day at my sister’s house that afternoon to celebrate Mother’s Day!

I’m so grateful for all of the sweet mamas, especially mine, aka world’s best Nana! She makes everything fun; especially for the grand babies!

Spring strolls around the meadow

Game ball

A little t-ball camera roll to wrap up another sweet season!

Brewer had a lot of family at his games this year plus some special visitors..

Our neighbors- Mrs. Gwen & Mr. Randy

and our neighbors, Mrs. Pam & Mr. Steve!

We love neighbors that feel like family!

Blessed with the best ❤️

Awards night! Until next year..

We are so proud of Brew Brew and the way this team played, prayed, & grew together!

A recent girls day in Queen City with Chelsea and AnnaVee was so good for my soul! These are lifelong best friends who I can chat for hours with yet we still have a lot more to say.

Cinco De Mayo on the back porch! Taco Dog take- out for the win!

Because eating ice cream in the rain is just amazing #childhood

This past weekend we went to the zoo

..for party stop #1 on Saturday!

Such a cute party to celebrate the boys’ sweet friend, River! We love her sweet fam!

..and back to the Queen City for party stop #2 that day!

This was another adorable party celebrating Olivia’s first birthday! We love her precious fam, too!

..and a sleepover at cousin Susie’s house after partying all day! Clearly, Brewer still had all the energy haha!

Ending today’s post with a flower garden peek! I can’t believe how tall the sunflowers have gotten!!

The veggie garden has been slower to take off so I’m glad the flowers are thriving. Hopefully this heat will bring some blooms soon!

Okay, that wraps up all things SPRING!! All the simple things about this season brought me joy!

Tomorrow is the last day of school and then it is… hello sweet summertime!! I hope everyone has a great end of school year and Memorial Day weekend!

We are grateful for all who served this wonderful nation and paid the ultimate sacrifice so we can live this life of freedom!

I’ll be back in blog world next Wednesday!
