Spring… part 1

Hello, Hello!

It’s been a minute so I have ALL the spring things to catch up on here in blog world!

Who else is surviving May-cember?! All the fun (& busy) end of school year events?! Summer, you are oh. so. close!!

I’m breaking down all the sweet spring things into two blog posts. I’ll have part 1 today and part 2, tomorrow!

It would not be spring without a baseball field 🙂

Brewer began t-ball at age 3 and he continues to love it! I love seeing him on the field with “coach Dad.”

…and baby brother, his #1 fan on the sidelines!

This spring, we did lots of projects around the yard!

I love days that call for picnics in the park.

I could not love these two more if I tried 🩵🩵

Let’s dive into all things Easter.

Brewer loved the bunny for the first time ever this year!

However, Capers… his face says it all lol

Easter Bunny…

…2026!

To begin Easter weekend, Brewer had career dress -up day at school on Good Friday. He wore his baseball uniform because he also had a game that evening!

In between school and baseball, we dyed Easter eggs at home.

These memories are everything!

All done 🙂

That Saturday, we did Easter with Harry’s side of the family! How cute is this set- up?!

Honey, Papa, & the cousin crew!

Later that evening, we had a rainstorm, and then appeared a rainbow over our house! I thought it was a beautiful reminder of God’s promises on Easter weekend!

Sunday/ Easter morning, the bunny hopped by

I live for these moments!

The night before, we sprinkled jellybeans in the front yard (it’s tradition) and the Easter Bunny turned them into lollipops. They wore their new rain-boots outside to see the magic 😉

We made our traditional “bunny cinnamon rolls” for breakfast and took some obligatory Easter photos!

Then, we were off to church!

This was also our first Sunday volunteering in the children’s church wing. We’re looking forward to this volunteer rotation! 🙂

After church, we hosted Easter lunch at our house with my family!

Then, we did lots of egg hunts and played in the backyard. These kiddos had so much fun!

That wraps up Easter!

Other simple little spring things included icecream at Strawberry Hill! I’ve said this before but Harry has an addiction to their icecream so we visit there often during sunshine months lol.

The boys are still loving their trampoline that Santa brought.

Who else followed the Artemis ll mission?! Brewer and I were obsessed!! Those astronauts are so amazing!

We spent a long weekend in IOP this spring!

It’s a bonus when you have the same spring break as your California cousin!

We had a fun weekend with family!

Beach memories are the best memories

Uncle Harry

This trip consisted of morning beach walks in pajamas..

..the weather was a mix of cool days and warm days

..brothers and their babies

..wagon rides

..and just beachin’ it!

We were also at the beach when the astronauts landed from their mission! We had a little living room party, haha!

🩵🩵

We’re already looking forward to our summer beach trip!

We came home from a spring weekend away to the azaleas in full bloom!

Cutie pie

We were still watching astronaut interviews when we got home!

This baby lovessss the playhouse!

The girls! My mom, sister, and I had a fun spring outing to a winery in Kings Mountain. We attended an 80th birthday party for my Aunt Cynthia in the area and came here after.

The best kind of award 🙂

Things like this make my mama heart happy!

We recently attended Fam Jam at Brewer’s school // We love how family oriented his school is!

Pelicans season 😍

Harry and I had a random date night on the town and he surprised me with flowers!

Shoutout to my brother Ethan and his girlfriend Tinsley for watching the boys! We have loved having Uncle EE in town for college.

I had an epic mom brain moment recently..

Brewer was invited to meet at the movies for a friend from schools birthday! He was looking forward to seeing the new Mario movie and y’all… I put the WRONG date on the calendar! I could not believe it when I realized my mistake and missed the movie. Thankfully Brewer forgave me, Harry took him to see the movie another day, I apologized to his sweet friends mom, she totally understood, and we gave his friend a gift & scheduled a playdate!

I can’t remember the last time I did something like this but just know, if you’ve ever had a mom brain moment, you’re not alone!

I’m so grateful for my life group girlies!

We went to see Brandon Lake this spring…

…and the very next day, half of the group headed out for a couples retreat in Banner Elk!

A weekend spent laughing, exploring the mountains, eating, trivia, painting your spouse on a canvas (bless those portraits HA), hot tubbin’, and just hanging out!

Grateful for these people ❤

the mountain view!

Shoutout to my mom who kept the boys while we were in the mountains! She stayed at my house, took Brewer to his t-ball game, and kept them entertained all weekend! 🙂

Spring has been filled with a lot of sweet moments and a few chaotic ones too 😉

I love this life!

Be sure to read Spring…. part 2, tomorrow!
