Hey Everyone!
I hope everyone’s week is going well!
I had fall break Monday and Tuesday! The extended weekend was nice!
Friday night, we did our annual trip to the pumpkin patch with all the fun fall things: pumpkin pickin’, hayride, corn maze, and more!
On Saturday, we explored the wonderland of fall at Strawberry Hill USA!
Sunday, we had a slow day by the water at Lake Lure!
Monday, Brewer & I had a mommy son day!
That evening, Harry, Brewer, and I took a drive to see the fall foliage and ended up at my favorite place on earth- Bonclarken!
I came to know Jesus in this beautiful place! It’s a big reason why I love the mountains and fall so much. I just love being surrounded by God’s beauty of creation!
After a few fun fall days…. I got really sick! A tummy bug hit me out of nowhere yesterday. I’ve spent the past 24 hours resting. I’m not so much of a “Netflix and chill” type of person so it’s been hard being knocked down. Thankful to be feeling a little better today! I think it was just a 24 hour bug and praying my boys don’t get it!
