Life Lately

Happy Friday Eve!!!

I hope y’all are having the best week! It’s honestly flown by over here since it was a shorter week due to Labor Day!

Today’s blog post is all about life lately! I’m catching y’all up on everything life related!

The last time I did a “life lately” post, we were just getting started with all of our summer fun!

Summer was OH SO SWEET!

It was filled with parks galore!!

Beach trips!

Oh What a Summer! 2022

After summer, it was time to transition back into the new school year!

I have sweet new families & kiddos! It’s been fun getting to know each of them so far this year and working with my sweet kindergarten team!

Brewer also went back to his part time church program! He is surrounded by the most precious people there!

He LOVES it! This week, they learned about apples and here he is in a sensory bucket, learning what Apple pie feels and looks like!

A couple weeks into the school year, our sweet boy came down with his very first ear infection! That meant lots of mommy/ baby cuddles!

And a week after that, we were back at the doctors office for a monthly check- up! Look who weighs 27 lb!

When school started back, that also meant that.. football is back!

We had fun at the Panthers training camp with our besties!

College football is also back! Go Gamecocks!

We had a girls night out recently to celebrate the newlywed, Mrs. Sanchez Fair in the middle!

We also got to meet sweet baby Hughes! We are so happy for our friends, Natalie and Tom! They have the sweetest little angel baby!

We’ve also been loving our Friday night date nights! Friday nights have been our date night since the beginning of time lol, literally. Now they include Brewer and they seem extra special during the school year!

I decorated the house for fall 3 days prior to Setemeber 1st… aka the start of fall! At least in this house! Lol!

And then it became…. September 1st! The magic in the air has returned!

There is truly something so special about this time of year! There’s like a magical feeling in the air with fall, football, back to school, leaves changing, and holidays ahead!

September 2nd was our first, fall Friday night of the season! Friday date nights in the fall are extra fun! This one was spent at home in our jammies! #CozySeason

We spent the evening baking pumpkin cupcakes and surrounded by all things The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown including the show, the book, and Brewer’s jam jams!

The next day, we attended the Apple Festival with Uncle William!

We also celebrated Labor Day with a little rainy day road trip through the mountains! We love the feel of the mountains, especially this time of year!
