Hey Friends!!!

It has been a bit since I blogged a little bit of, “Life Lately.” I try to do these posts quarterly throughout the year to catch up on all the things.

The last time I blogged a bit of, “Life Lately,” I was getting ready to return to work from maternity leave. Maternity leave was AMAZING!! I soaked in every bit of it!

I love, love, love having a little winter baby! We were able to stay inside and snuggle during those sweet newborn months!

Now, it’s so pretty & warm outside! We’re able to get outside & go places for all the fun things! Plus Brewer is a few months old so we’re feeling a lot more comfortable taking him places.

Returning to work was not easy. I was emotionally, a hot mess. I didn’t blog as much during that transition. Once I made it over the little hump of settling back into a new routine, everything was fine!!

I think my new mom hormones’ were still trying to level out LOL! That and I just love my baby so much.

I’m very thankful for my professional job/ schedule. I thrive off of a professional schedule. I’m also thankful for the flexibility and time off that my job provides so that my family can be first!

This was definitely a school year to remember! My class overcame so many challenges this school year with Covid + having a teacher that went on maternity leave. So thankful for this group! They were sweet, they were fun, eager to learn, accomplished so much, and FULL of personality!! I love these kiddos!

We are absolutely loving life with Brewer! He’s our best buddy who just goes everywhere with us! We recently dressed up for a Kentucky Derby party at my sister’s house!

I celebrated my very first Mother’s Day! Being a mom is my favorite thing in the entire world!

We dedicated Brewer to the church on Mother’s Day! I can not think of a better way to spend my first Mother’s Day!

Brewer & I attended a baby shower for this sweet mama to be! We can’t wait for Brewer to have a little friend to play with in July! Brittney & I are childhood friends!! I love that we get to be mommies together! 🙂

Brewer had this first trip to the lake! He seems to be so happy & content outside! I think we’re going to have a little outdoors boy on our hands!

This weather has AnnaVee & I (plus Brewer :)) having all the outdoor day dates!

Brewer & I love meeting friends for outdoor lunches & dinner! We recently had dinner with Emily, right before she gave birth to her own sweet baby! I’m SO excited to watch Brewer and Tucker grow up together!!

Can you tell Brewer likes Uncle EE?! LOL! We have always called my youngest brother EE. (Also known as Ethan!)

These sweet pups have become the best brothers! They are the best big brothers to Brewer, too! It’s like they know to be gentle near him. They are so, so sweet toward Brewer. (Nash still likes to steal baby items when no one is looking though, like bibs!)

Reading Bible stories to Brewer is one of my favorite things!

Harry and I have not had a date night since Brewer was born because we love taking him everywhere with us. Last weekend, we had back to back events, so Brewer stayed with my mom for the weekend! This is Brewer with my mom (Nana), and my sweet niece, Eleanor!

Y’all know I love holidays! We had the best Memorial Weekend!

I’m also loving having my quiet time with the Lord, outside this time of year! There is no better way to start the day than by starting the day with Jesus!

Jesus has blessed me SO much lately. I’m just so humbled and grateful for all of His blessings on my life!
