Happy Monday!!!
I hope everyone had the best Easter weekend!!
I heard this at church yesterday and I wanted to repeat it here too:
“Jesus was crucified on Friday, rose on Sunday, so that we have something to live for on Monday!”
Let that be your motivation this Monday. Strive to live for Jesus who loved you so much that he died so that you could be saved. We have a hope in Jesus. I mean really, let that sink in! That is going to be my motivation today! I want to live everyday like it’s Easter, knowing that we have a risen savior!!

I wanted to share a little bit of Life Lately today! I try to do a “life lately” post every few months and catch up on what’s new in life!

Since my last, “life lately” post, my life has changed in all of the best ways!!

My days are spent snuggling this sweet baby!

We are loving the spring time weather! We’re outside a lot these days!!

The pup pups have also enjoyed being outside in the spring weather!

Dinners lately have looked a lot like this! Harry has put the grill to use!!

We took Brewer to church for the first time a few weeks ago! He has now been 3 Sunday’s in a row and he has been amazing throughout the service! I’m so excited that this baby gets to grow up in church learning about Jesus!

Brewer is now an Easter Egg- spert! lol

Having Brewer has made the holidays even more fun!!
We just love him so much!

Well that pretty much sums up life lately!

One thing I’m not sure I’ve mentioned on the blog is that Harry & I had covid at the very beginning of the year before Brewer was born! To be exact Harry tested positive on January 1st and I tested positive about 2 days later.
We have NO idea where we got it. During that time, we both had a break from work for the holidays and we were with family. No one else in our families had Covid, so it’s a mystery.
Harry lost his taste/ smell and had some minor chest pains.
The only symptom I had was a bit of a stuffy nose. That’s it.
I’ve had the flu twice in my life and both times I thought I was dying. Covid did not affect me much at all and I’m very thankful for that! I know the circumstances could have been completely different.
Our main concern/ fear was that I would have Covid while in labor. I had so many thoughts going through my mind like, What if Harry can’t be in the delivery room because he has Covid? Will they put me isolation because I have Covid? So many things!! But thankfully, we were out of our quarantine window by the time I went into labor and we were both feeling great!
In hindsight, our pediatrician informed us that Brewer would have the antibodies so we did not have to worry as much about Covid with a newborn! That was a blessing! He assured us, we were all safe and we have been!!
Our hearts go out to the families who have been negatively impacted by Covid.
We are happy to see things getting back to normal in the world! 🙂

Okay, I think that sums up all of life’s major events since my last, “life lately” post!
HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!
