September 3rd! Feels amazing!!!
Is it just me or does everyone else get giddy when it turns, September? It’s like the start to the best time of year!
Seriously, I think the last 4 months of the year are the BEST! From fall, to orchards, all the way to Christmas carols- I LOVE this time of year!
The weather feels amazing, so many fun holidays to look forward to, lots of family time, & just so many festive things. I love, love, LOVE it! I’ve always been BIG on holidays! Give me something to celebrate and decorate for, and I’m a happy girl!

Today on the blog, I am going to talk about all things fall- from fall clothes, to baby clothes, some home decor, fall traditions, and more!
~
Lately, I have been working on adding some new pieces to my wardrobe for fall! Let’s take a look at a few things:

How cute and comfy does this red oversized sweater look?! I saw it and had to have it! I definitely think it’s a piece that I will get lots of wear out of, this fall. It can be worn with leggings and that is my go- to attire in the fall! I’m also obsessed with the color and how soft it is. It can for sure be dressed up or down!

How cute is this plum top?! My family are big LSU fans! I thought this top would be so fun for football Saturday. I also just love this color for fall. It adds a great pop of color to your wardrobe. The ruffles are my favorite! So fun!! It’s a great transitional piece and it comes in lots of colors!

This sunset button down just shouts pumpkin patch and apple farms!! It’s oversize and can be worn with jeans or leggings. It’s so comfy and it just has fall written all over it. It’s another easy go to piece for any fall occasion!

Shopping for Brewer and buying things for his seasonal wardrobe is my absolute favorite thing in the world. Seriously, I thought it was fun buying clothes for myself but shopping for a baby is SO MUCH FUN!
Some of his fall pieces I special ordered from baby boutiques, some were found at Target, I bought lots of things last season when they were on sale, and some were Amazon finds!
Let’s talk about a few:

These pajamas may be the cutest things I have EVER seen!! I’m so obsessed! Brewer will be able to wear these for all of the fall months! So, so excited!! You can also have them monogrammed! 🙂

This outfit was an Amazon find! Psst… it’s only $8.99. I thought it was a great transitional piece from summer to fall. It’s a great “play outfit” to add to Brewer’s closet. He can wear this at home, to daycare, or out & about. I love the neutral color, the buttons, and the material is great!

This is another great, “play outfit” from Amazon! It’s only $13.99. I bought it in this burnt orange color and a soft blue color. During the summer months, Brewer wore a lot of short/ short sleeve rompers for his everyday “play” outfits. I wanted to add some long sleeve/ pants rompers to his fall wardrobe. They’re so comfy for a baby and you don’t have to worry about a shirt not staying down or elastic from bottoms being uncomfortable around their waist. Rompers/ jumpsuits are great and the material of this romper is SO soft!!
~

Of course, Brewer needed something that said, “Baby’s First Halloween.” Therefore, I did buy this cute little pants set because I loved the little pumpkin on the butt. It’s stretchy and comfy for baby. It’s also super affordable- only $13.98

Now, let’s talk about some fall home decor pieces that I’ve been eyeing!

I have been loving Target’s fall, home decor line! How adorable is this woven pumpkin?! I’m obsessed! It’s only $10 and it would add a great fall touch to any room in your house. I love the woven look!

I’m obsessed with pillows! They’re an easy, fun, cozy way to decorate. I think this pumpkin pillow is adorable. It’s also from Target’s fall, home decor line. I think it would look great on a bed, on a sofa, in a reading nook, just about anywhere in the house!

Let’s talk fall traditions…

I love holidays and I love traditions!! They make the seasons/ holidays so much sweeter and it’s a great way to make so many family memories! I look forward to fall traditions!
Our traditions are like most families fall traditions: apple orchards, pumpkin carving, cozy Halloween movie nights at home, lots of pumpkin flavors/ apple cider, and we have our own special Halloween traditions because that’s the night we got engaged!
Now tell me, what is a special fall tradition that you and your family do?! I love adding new traditions to my list!

Let me leave you with this…

Fall also reminds me of so much sweetness! These pumpkin swirl bars by MixandMatchMama are amazing! I make them every year and you should too! 🙂
Follow her recipe, below:
Shopping List
1 box chocolate cake mix
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup milk
4 eggs, divided
3 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1 cup of canned pumpkin
2 tablespoons cocoa powderPreheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease (I use Pam) a 9×13 inch baking dish and set aside. In a small bowl, combine cake mix, vegetable oil, milk and one egg. Pat evenly into pan to form a crust. Bake about 8 minutes. Remove from oven. Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in powdered sugar. Next, beat in remaining 3 eggs and beat until smooth. At this point, divide your mixture into two separate bowls. In your first bowl, beat in pumpkin pie spice and pumpkin. Smooth this mixture over the top of your crust in one thin layer. Next, take your second bowl and beat in your cocoa powder. Spread this mixture down over your pumpkin mixture in another layer. Take a knife and lightly swirl the two top layers together until they look marbled. Bake 40-50 minutes or until set. After you remove it from the oven, let it rest 30 minutes on the counter before refrigerating at least two hours before slicing and serving. Keep refrigerated when you’re not enjoying the bars. A little chocolate, a little pumpkin and a whole lot of goodness!

Okay, I hope this post got y’all in a fall mood like it did me! 🙂
