Do you ever feel like your life is so cluttered that you can’t think straight?
We have all been there!
Maybe you have a cluttered closet at home that is driving you crazy, maybe you have a cluttered schedule and you feel like you don’t have any free time, maybe you have a cluttered relationship that is leaving you feeling drained at the end of the day, or maybe your mind just feels cluttered because you have a million things on the brain.. it feels like 1,000 tabs open at once!
Sometimes, our lives can become so cluttered that we miss out on opportunities that God is calling us to. If your life feels cluttered in certain areas, think of ways to declutter:
Home:
If it’s a cluttered home that is giving you anxiety, clean- out! Maybe you need to stop buying clothes hangers and start getting rid of some things. I did a major clean out this summer and I felt no guilt in taking a huge car load of stuff to Good Will. I felt so much better!
Schedule:
If you have a cluttered schedule that is bothering you, think about the 24 hours that are in your day and what you can do with those hours! Are you over committing? Is there something that needs to go from your schedule that is leaving you over the top exhausted at the end of each day?
We all have the same 24 hours in a day.. how will you spend those hours?
Random.. but did you know there is a way to check and see how much time you spend on each app on your phone? I discovered this the other day and wow.. its sad to think I spend that much time on my phone. It made me think, “oh wow.. no wonder I didn’t have time to do this or that.”
Go to: settings – battery – battery usage – click on the clock – you can see exactly how much time was spent on each app in the last 24 hours! (it will shock you!)
Relationships:
If you have a cluttered relationship that is leaving you feeling drained at the end of each day, it may be time to do something about it. Make the minutes in your day count by spending them on the people who matter the most! Our time is precious and we should not intend to waste any of it on situations that are draining and not uplifting.

God cares about what we invest our time into! It is so important that we are careful with what we commit our lives to! If you need to declutter in a specific area, there is no better time than NOW!
