Hey Y’all!

Happy (almost) Fall!!

I sure wish it felt like fall outside but none the less, I’m so happy to see the leaves starting to change and I’ve been craving pumpkin everything lately! But please no pumpkin spice lattes! Am I the only one who doesn’t like those?

Anyway, I’m doing a little “life lately” post to blog about all of the things we have been up to lately!

Work…! The beginning of a new school year is always a little busy. My 4K students do a staggered entry at the beginning of the year, but now I have all 20 so we are getting into a good solid routine! Routine is key!!

We have been busy working on the house! This is a sneak peek of our bedroom. It still needs a few finishing touches!

It is officially football season! WooHoo! In this house, football is a constant topic with my husband. On Friday nights, we watch high school football at his alma mater (Spartan High). We watch college football on Saturdays (Go Gamecocks and LSU). Harry’s blood bleeds garnet and black but my family are die hard LSU fans! Then on Sundays, it’s GO PANTHERS!

My brother Ethan, plays little league football in Clover! We attended his first game a couple weekends ago. We love football season!!!

Ethan also turned 11 a few weeks ago!! How did that happen?? I swear we went from baby to double digits!!

I was baptized a few weeks ago at our church! I was baptized as a baby too but I had not been baptized since becoming a christian, which was in high school. Professing my faith on this day was amazing! Our church is currently building a new sanctuary and I was able to be baptized in the middle of the new sanctuary that is still under construction. We were also able to write scriptures and pray inside of these walls where we will soon be worshiping!! It was a very cool experience!

I also started leading a group of high school girls on Sunday mornings in a small group at church! This is really important to me because that is how I became a Christian. I was really involved in my small group and my youth group throughout high school. God really spoke to me and took hold of my heart during those years! My prayer is that God will use me to show at least one person in my group who Jesus is.

Speaking of small groups.. we are also forming our own small group with a group of friends/ young married couples from church! It’s so important to have people to walk through the same season of life with. Harry and I just love hanging out and talking to people. We are definitely “people” people, so we are looking forward to this!

That just about sums everything up that we have been up to lately! As mentioned above, we are looking forward to all things FALL!! We have some fun things planned with family/ friends throughout the season! Bring on all the pumpkins and flannel!
