Be Happy!

What are you relying on in life to make you happy?

Is it success, money, your spouse, your kids, materialistic things?

Sometimes, it is so easy to say:

I’ll be happy if I could just land that perfect job.

I’ll be happy if I could just meet Mr. Right.

I’ll be happy if I could just own my own home.

The sayings could go on and on.. but all of these things bring temporary happiness. What is it that is going to bring you everlasting happiness?

People can search and search for happiness but it can only be found ultimately in Jesus.

Happiness comes when we trust God, the creator of the world, the creator of you and me.

Proverbs 16:20 tells us that “whoever trusts in the LORD, happy is he.” Trusting in God and His will for our lives brings peace.

Stop searching for your happiness in worldly things and turn to Jesus. I promise everything else in your life will seem so small when you put your life in the hands of the almighty one!

Is it hard at times? Yes, because temptations are there for sin and sin separates us from God. But He will never leave us and He will always be our biggest fan to help us in our time of need.

Jesus is there when things are going well and He is there things are not going well. He can turn our tragedy into triumph, if we just trust Him.

The world will fail us but Jesus never will. At the end of the day, Jesus is the reason that I am happy. I know that He is always on my side and that is enough for me!
