Baby’s First Easter

Hello Blog Fam!!

I hope you all are having a great week! I’m on spring break this week and Harry just so happened to still be on paternity leave, so we’ve been enjoying lots of family time this week!

Today, I am recapping our Easter weekend! It was Capers’ first Easter and it felt very special for our family.

Savoring this…

Easter weekend started on Good Friday!

We took a trip to the flower farm!

Capers was dressed for the part!

We went to “Dirt & Grit Farm” in Woodruff!

Fun fact: I taught in this sweet little town for 6 years prior to moving to the virtual teaching world!

We picked flowers, played with goats & chickens, saw ducks & horses, and Brewer played on the swing!

We had the best time! We love adding Capers to all of our fun, family outings!

Tulips are my favorite!

Friday evening, Brewer had T-Ball practice!

Haha, the backwards hat!

Harry is usually on the field with Brewer while Capers & I hang out on the side lines! #BrewsCrew

Saturday morning (Easter Eve) we did a little bit of crafting!

Mid day- we got dressed up in our Easter attire to attend the Easter service at church!

Capers Dress Shoes

We decided to attend the service on Saturday because we had a full day of seeing both families on Sunday and didn’t want to put too much on the boys!

The Easter service was truly incredible!

Brewer’s Easter Shoes

Sweet baby slept through the service!

After the service, we came home and the boys changed into their matching Easter jammie’s!

We spent the evening dying our Easter eggs!

Brewer did all the decorating!

This Easter season, I ordered resurrection eggs! Brewer has had the best time playing with these. I know we will be using these in all the years to come to teach the boys about the resurrection!

Easter morning!

All of our annual Easter pictures are on display above Brewer’s little kitchen.

(I do this with Santa photos and the Easter Bunny photos. I display them just for the season. All of the Santa photos are behind the bunny photos in the same frame. I just switch the order when it’s time to bring them down from a box in the attic along with other decor.)

The Easter bunny hopped by!

My mama heart gets so excited for these things!!

The Easter bunny stops by for the pup pups too!

Brewer is actually NOT a fan of the Easter Bunny! Lol. I mean.. can we blame him? We only got a photo this year with the bunny because we were in the picture too! He wanted to make sure the bunny was out of site before seeing what he left in his basket! Lol

A little video of Easter morning!

Brewer still calls Capers, “papers” and it melts this Mama heart 🩵 so sweet!

Picture time

Baby’s first Easter!

It’s so funny telling toddlers to say, cheese lol

A fun little side by side! Capers wore the exact same outfit Brewer wore for his first Easter

Brewer: left Capers: right

More pictures! It’s not Easter if you’re not taking 7478 photos in your fancy clothes, right?

Such a beautiful day for Easter!

Our first stop was Honey & Papa’s house for Easter lunch + hiding eggs

More photos from Easter lunch with family:

And then….

We headed to Clover to be with my family for Easter dinner and hide more eggs with the cousins

We were so blessed to be with both families for Easter this year! Our hearts were so full!

Peep Capers’ whittle duck foot! Haha, he has sweet little webbed feet. Only on his right foot, those two whittle toes!

The sweetest Easter Day all because we have a risen savior who allows us to live a life of joy, love, and peace!

Jesus is the only thing in this world that matters and I’m so grateful for His blessings!

I’ll leave y’all with photos of our baby bunny:

Capers’ first Easter was a very sweet one that we will always treasure!

~

I’m off to enjoy the rest of spring break with my boys! I always love stepping away from social media around Easter just to soak in the Lord’s goodness. I plan to do that this weekend but I will have a blog post up Monday for April’s edition of “Motivation Monday!”

See y’all then!
