Who else has vacation on the brain?!

We had a little beach weekend get away recently and now I’m ready to go back!

Last year, I did a fun blog post about how we pack for vacation as a family! I also mentioned some vacation ideas that would be helpful with a baby that had been suggested to us!

Now that we’ve had some beach experience with a baby + Brewer is on the move these days, we have updated our summer essential list for “vaca with a baby!”

Our essentials look like this:

Last summer, a friend suggested we borrow her tent to try on the beach with a baby before purchasing something! So nice!! It worked WONDERFUL! It provided a great amount of shade needed for an infant! Plus it was easy to set- up!

We also used this inflatable bathtub! It worked great for cooling Brewer off with a little bit of water down on the beach!

This summer, Brewer is going to be walking all over the beach, ready to play! I think he will enjoy being under an umbrella and playing in the sand!

These are our favorite beach sand toys!! I love the variety and I love the carry on bag! We bought these last summer and can’t wait to use them again this year!

A good beach wagon is key for getting all of these things down to the beach! This one can be used for the beach or many other purposes like sporting events!

You can certainly use the wagon for baby to go on beach walks! Last summer, we ended up purchasing a little umbrella stroller for the beach! I didn’t want to take his nice stroller through the sand/ water, so this one was perfect! It’s also comfortable for Brewer to ride in on long Beach walks!

I mentioned this on a recent Fab Friday post! We needed some sort of take along high chair to use on vacations with Brewer! I love how compact this one is. The tray is self storing AND the top of the seat comes off to be stored underneath! It can also be used as a booster seat for Brewer to eat here at home once he’s a bit older! I felt like we would get the most use out of this one! So far, we love it!!

Okay, those are the main (big) things! Plus lots of little things: swimsuits, swim diapers, a good hat, sunscreen, etc!
