I’m going to break down all things, blogging!! Including… Why I blog? When I started blogging? How do I stay organized with it? And lots more!!

Why did I begin this blog all of those years ago?

I wanted a creative outlet to share my faith & other fun lifestyle things! There are lots of fitness, fashion, diet, beauty, etc. blogs out there. While I love blogging about some of those things too, I wanted this to be a place where I could share about my faith and who Jesus is.

I love sharing about all He has done in all aspects of my life! My blog has also become like a big scrapbook for my family which I love!!!

I’ve always loved to write, too! I feel like I express myself best through writing!

So my blog really is a lifestyle blog with a big focus on Jesus because He is at the center of it all!

What has blogging done for me?

I’ve made so many unique connections with people through my little corner of the internet. I really do strive to keep this a happy & light spot on the internet! It brings me so much joy when people message me or tell me in person how much they connected with a post! I’ve made a lot of friendships through this space!

Can you make money from blogging? Sure! Do I? A little! My blog is not a booming business by any means! I do it because I love it! The extra earnings or free things that come along are just a bonus!

Is it too late to start a blog?

I see this question a lot on the internet in general. It is never too late to start a blog! I blog because I love it and if you have a passion for it as well, then go for it!

I also love my blog because it’s mine! Facebook, Instagram, etc could all disappear one day. But my blog… well, it’s mine!

How do I keep it all organized?

Over time, I have found my rhythm! I blog twice a week. I have some fun monthly repeats that I came up with on my own! It makes creating blog posts easier + I love the fun, reoccurring topics that I put different spins on each month!

I also have this folder where I jot down all of my ideas! For my reoccurring posts each month, such as, “Tell All Tuesday,” I plan out at the beginning of each year so that I have a variety of topics for the year and I make each month different!

Y’all hear me say this a lot too but I live by my planner! At the beginning of each month, I sit down and decide which days of the month I will blog and what each blog post will be!

I think that wraps up the key points I have about blogging!

Blogging is truly a passion of mine and something the Lord put on my heart years ago and something I still love today!
