Hey everyone!!

Welcome to, “A Day in the Life” of us!!

Yesterday, I documented our day so you’ll get to see what a random Wednesday looks like for us!

It’s nothing spectacular! Just ordinary week day life! These are the moments & days that we will always treasure though! 🙂

On this day, I woke up around 6ish!

I woke up, washed my face, & got semi ready for the day! Then I had some quiet time with Jesus!

Then I step into the nursery around 6:50- 7ish! Look who is waking up!! Usually, when I turn on the lamp, he pops right up! He’s so happy in the mornings!

The weather has been so back & forth lately! On this day, it was cold so I was reaching for anything long sleeves in the closet! Brewer saw me pull this out and got SO excited!! He started shouting, “truck, truck!!” Of course I put an under shirt on first and he got upset at first because he thought he wasn’t getting to wear the truck sweater, lol!! This is the first time he’s ever had an opinion about his clothes! It was so funny! He LOVES trucks and was so proud that he got to wear this sweatshirt! He tickles me!

Then, I head into the kitchen to prep his lunch box for the day while he plays with toys in the living room! Brewer still attends a church program part time during the week!

Then he came into the kitchen ready for a morning snack! His class eats together in the mornings too! I always pack him breakfast, lunch, & snack!

The boys leave the house by 7:30! I always buckle him in and pray over his day! He still has his snack in hand! Lol

After they leave, I come inside & make a little breakfast… a bagel! I’m loving the spring flowers on my kitchen island! I try to always keep fresh flowers on the kitchen island because they just make me happy! 🙂

Then I step out back with the pups & notice how green everything is turning in the backyard! This makes me giddy!

My work day begins at 8 but I don’t begin teaching until 8:45. I’m answering emails, chatting with my team, etc while also listening to favorite podcasts!

Then, I get the SWEETEST photo I’ve ever seen!!! It was “doughnuts with Dads” on this day!! How cute are they! My heart was officially in a puddle!! I love these 2 so stinking much!!

One more! 😉

During a quick morning break, I made a smoothie! Smoothies have been my jam lately to get my greens in each day!

Once I wrap up teaching for the morning at 10:45, I have some time to do some planning things.

Then, I go into the kitchen for lunch and see these 2 laying in the sun by the kitchen window! I love those fur babies!

My lunch! Haha not the greatest but popcorn shrimp, Brewer’s Mac n cheese, & some grapes for the win! I eat lunch while doing a few things around the house: changing out the toy basket in the living room for Brewer, Harry called for a few minutes, etc!

Ready to teach a few more classes until 2ish & knock out some more work tasks, with my Stanley cup to keep me hydrated!

Once I wrap up work for the day, I go pick up Brewer!! While driving here, I’m on the phone with friends! Car time is my favorite time to catch up with my girls! On this day, I was chatting with a teacher friend!

He is always so happy & silly! And haha no make up/ very minimal on this day!

We also made a stop while we were out to pick up our craft that we made over spring break at Hearts of Clay here in town!! Aww, I love little keepsakes like this oh so much!!

Brewer heads straight for the back door when we get home & the puppies follow him!! Then, we are outside basically the whole afternoon/ evening! Brewer & the pups head straight for the bubble machine. We’re also playing in the sandbox, walking, riding in the truck! Brewer wants to do all the things!

When DaDa gets home, he has a surprise! Lol! Lovies somehow got left in DaDa’s car this morning. This has literally never happened before! When I picked him up earlier in the day, his teacher told me, “we had to give Brewer a makeshift lovey today! (Lol)” His teachers are the best! They found a giraffe puppet just for him in place of his lovies this day! Needless say, he was a happy baby when DaDa walked in the door with his real lovies around 5:20!

When DaDa gets home, we’re outside, we’re making dinner, we’re in the living room, & then it’s time to get ready for bed!

Brewer is also getting sleepy during this time, so things can get wild! I kinda forgot that I was documenting the day during this time! Mom friends.. y’all know what these hours are like!

Reading books with Brewer at night is one of my favorite parts of our day!! It’s just the sweetest bonding & cuddle time! We giggle, we laugh, & we pray together! After reading for 15ish minutes, I’ll turn the lamp off and we keep rocking and pretty soon, he’s asleep!

Then, I’ll do things around the house to clean up! Then I love to lay on the couch with my kindle & the pups! Harry will join me in the living room & we chat too!

And that my friends…. Is a day in the life!
