This & That Thursday

Hello!!!!

Welcome back to this month’s edition of,

“This & That Thursday.”

Yesterday I blogged a round- up of all things pertaining to life lately.

Find it here: Life Lately

Today, I’m blogging more specific things like what I’m loving, what we’re doing this weekend, and more! As always, here is the line-up for This & That Thursday:

Starting with…

This week: I talked more about this in yesterday’s blog post but the highlight of our week has been Brewer starting T-Ball. Those are little moments that you look forward to in life and it’s just brought a lot of joy this week! We’re excited to be outside at the field this spring watching Brewer play in the dirt and just have fun. Baby brother gets to tag along in the sunshine too!

Life Lately

Looking forward to: Sunshine, sunshine, sunshine! I love the cozy winter months and then I get really excited about warm weather things: playing in the backyard, front porch rockin’ with baby, being near the water, outdoor playdates with friends, Easter!!!, and all the things!

Currently Dreading: Hmm.. this is random but.. when I was 3 months postpartum with Brewer, I started experiencing the whole “postpartum hair loss.” I thought I was in the clear because it didn’t begin until month 3 with Brewer. Now, I am 3.5 months postpartum with Capers and I’ve been experiencing it again. I don’t think I’m losing as much hair this time around but I’ve noticed it a little. So yeah, ready for that phase to pass!

Reminiscing On: I am loving Capers’ age!! 3 months is SO sweet! They’re still so tiny and they’re also giggling. It’s a sweet time of being really little and showing bits of personality. It has me reminiscing on Brewer at 3 months of age. This is Brewer at 3 months:

(That whittle tongue ❤️)

Watching/ Reading; We are approaching the bachelor finale next week and I’m so excited!! I’ve mentioned this season so many times on my blog but y’all… it’s truly felt like the old day bachelor seasons! Joey’s season has been great. And you guys.. the only thing I’m reading are my devotion books! I like the goal of trying to read one book a month but sometimes life just happens ya know, especially as a mom of littles! Hopefully next month, I’ll have a good book to share ❤

Find my devotion books, here!

Listening to: I’ve been listening to Jack Johnson a lot lately! I think it’s just that light hearted, feel good kind of music. I love it! Something about spring has made me want to listen to it. If you open my Apple Music, that is what you will find!

What’s on the menu: Let’s see… Monday night, Brewer had T-Ball and we picked up to- go after the practice/ jamboree. Tuesday and Wednesday, Harry grilled chicken on the outdoor grill and we’ve made salads with it. I should have taken a picture because it was so yum! We kept saying, “this will be on repeat this spring.” Last night, I made lasagna before going to Brewer’s T-Ball practice.

I’m Loving: I restocked on shampoo & conditioner this week so I thought I would share what I use! It’s a little pricey but SO worth it. It also lasts me forever because I only wash my hair once or twice a week. I use R + Co: Television Perfect, shampoo and conditioner. It keeps my hair so healthy! My hair looks better using this vs. anything else. The past 2 hair washes, I’ve used other things because I ran out of R + Co and needed to restock. I can tell a difference. It doesn’t look as good or feel as healthy as it does when I’m using R + Co. I’ve used it for several years and can’t imagine using anything else because I love it so much! It just got delivered again, yesterday!

Shop it, here!

Weekend Vibes: Friday night, we are taking it easy! Saturday & Sunday are filled with fun celebrations!!

Saturday, I’m helping out with a baby shower here in town for my fellow boy mama, Emily!! Harry is still on paternity leave but he’s going to the office to help with an event on Saturday and my mom is coming into town to spend the day with the boys!! It’ll be a fun Saturday!!

Sunday, my little fam is going with me to Charlotte where I’m helping with a bridal shower for my cousin, Sara and we’ll spend more time with fam!

So excited to celebrate these girlies in my life!!

Bible Verse: In honor of Palm Sunday this weekend, I’ll leave you all with this Bible Verse:

I love taking time to reflect on the meaning of Easter each year and just what Jesus did for us. He paid the ultimate sacrifice so that we can live this life of freedom in Him.

~

I hope y’all have a great Friday/ Weekend!

Love you all!

*I will be back on the blog, next Friday!*
