Oh what a Christmas season to remember!
I have been in newborn Heaven over here and soaking in all the cozy, Christmas snuggles with my sweet boys!
Today, I wanted to squeeze in a blog post though to recap the Christmas season so far because this is one that I never ever want to forget.
This blog post feels like a “dear diary” entry because these moments are so special to me!
Here we go… Christmas season, 2023 <3…

We always kick off the Christmas season by decorating our cozy little Christmas cottage!
Find it, here: Home for the Holidays!!

We tried to do a lot of our “out of the house” Christmas festivities early this year! We knew once baby arrived we couldn’t be leaving the house much.
We had so much fun on the Polar Express! There is truly nothing better than experiencing Christmas through the eyes of little ones!

The sweetest Christmas puppy! Nashy Bear!

We hosted Thanksgiving with my fam at our house this year the weekend prior to Thanksgiving! SO fun!!

Thanksgiving morning, we were watching the parade and saw two dinosaurs in the parade (one big, one little) and I told Brewer that reminds me of him & little brother! He got so excited and had to touch the screen! Lol

We spent Thanksgiving day with Harry’s fam in Spartanburg!

The day after Thanksgiving, Buddy the Elf arrived! Brewer was SO excited!

8 years of going to the Grove Park Inn! We honeymooned here and have been back every year since. It’s so sweet going back with babies!

Harry & I had a little baby moon weekend away at the lake! We love the mountains this time of year!

We also celebrated our anniversary a little early this year before baby arrived! We had dinner at the Piedmont Club and spent our actual anniversary at home in pajamas with our TWO boys!
(Brewer insisted that Woody be in the photo too, lol!)

We soaked in the magic of the season while waiting on the best gift ever to arrive…

And then Capers Lynn Cochran made his debut at 37 weeks on December 1st, 2023!
We are so grateful he made it home for Christmas!
Read all about his birth story, here:
Third trimester + Capers’ birth story!

Since Capers has been home, we have spent our days snuggled by the Christmas tree!

All the newborn snuggles!

Brewer has stayed home from daycare this month! We are doing all the things to try to keep germs away!

Truly, we have slowed down in the best way possible since having Capers! It’s just been the coziest Christmas December snuggled up at home in our jammies with our little winter bears!

In honor of our favorite annual event on our town square, we had our own “Dickens of a Christmas” here at home in our Christmas pajamas making gingerbread houses & watching the Elf on the Shelf story tale on Netflix!

I love being Mama Claus!!! My favorite title ever!

Harry did take this cutie to a pajama party to celebrate one of his sweet friend’s birthdays!

How adorable is this “official cookie tester?!” Brewer & I made a mess + memories in the kitchen making Christmas cookies!

We’ve also spent our time at home making Christmas crafts!

32 and dad of 2!! We celebrated Harry’s birthday! This one will always be memorable!

This cutie elf helping run some quick Christmas errands! When he realized I was taking a photo, he turned around backwards lolllll! Can you say toddler! My “easy to take photo days” have come to an end with this one! Haha.

We introduced Capers to Jammy CoCoa Christmas! We put on our Christmas jammies, loaded up the car, turned on Christmas music, took our treats to go this year, and rode around town to see Christmas lights! We rode through downtown Inman, went by The Christmas House, and rode around our neighborhood to see lights!

We had some warm days where this cutie got to go to the park!

We call this country Santa!

Brewer has become the best big brother this Christmas season!

These two have completely melted my heart lately!

We have read all of the Christmas books!

I had a theme for my wrapping this year! Baby blue pin stripe paper with tiny red bows for our merry little Christmas baby boy!

It has been so special and fun having a newborn this Christmas season! We are just so grateful for this sweet, tiny gift!

And big brother got a surprise book, “Little Blue Truck Christmas” with lights for being such a great big brother!!

It has already been a Christmas to remember and we still have all of Christmas weekend to go! Thank you, Jesus!
From my family to yours, we wish you a very Merry Christmas!
*I will be back on the blog sometime after Christmas next week!*
