Baby BOY #2 is due!!

Ahh!! We are SO, SO excited!!!

We had the best weekend celebrating baby boy #2! Today, I am going to recap all of the fun!

We had planned a visit to a local place called, “My Baby’s Debut” where they can tell the gender of the baby at 14 weeks with a 3D/ 4D ultrasound! We had the same experience with Brewer! Peep baby’s whittle foot… so sweet!

Brewer came with us and we truly had the best experience just like we did the first time around!

The technician showed us baby, we listened to the heartbeat, we had them put baby’s heartbeat sound inside of baby’s first teddy bear! We did the same with Brew bear! 🙂

Then, when it was time to find out the gender, the technician turned the big screen off so we couldn’t see. We had her put it inside of an envelope and we were going to open it later!

The results are in!!

As it turns out, Harry had actually planned a summer date night for us that night! He got us tickets to go see Lady A in Greenville! He knows I love country concerts. 🙂

When we called to schedule the baby gender appointment, it just so happened to fall on the same day! So we planned dinner before the concert and made the night special! Meanwhile, my mom came to town to keep Brewer while we went out!

We had dinner at Halls Chophouse with complimentary drinks! (Mocktail for me!) We go there on special occasions and we always request the back table by the window that overlooks the bridge/ water. At Christmas time, it’s also the table by the Christmas tree! It was special getting to sit at “our table” where we’ve spent many special occasions!

We opened the envelope during dinner!! We celebrated, we thanked Jesus, and we never stopped smiling the entire night!

After dinner, we walked over to the peace center for the concert! It was an awesome performance! Such a perfect way to celebrate baby #2.

The next day, we were SO excited to share the news with Brewer! We took him to Strawberry Hill to open a little box with a blue balloon!

We can’t wait to see Brewer with a brother!! He is going to love it!! Best friends forever!

This boy loves strawberries! It was the perfect place to take Brewer to celebrate!

On Saturday, we spent the day with Brewer outside around town! We went to the park, got some icecream, & visited the local Toy Store in downtown! It was a sweet day dreaming about our future with Brewer & his brother! 🙂

We also FaceTimed Harry’s parents & shared the news with his siblings!!! His family is all over the map & his mom was out of town! It was sweet watching Brewer hold up his baby brother’s sonogram to share the news with them! 🙂

On Sunday, we already had plans to be with my family in Charlotte! My sister surprised us with this festive balloon arch!

We filled a big box of blue balloons that Brewer could open to share the news with family!

Everyone is so excited for another boy!! Brewer has girl cousins on both sides of our family so having another boy is going to shake things up a bit! 🙂

I put together a little video that we sent to friends after sharing the news with family!

I think we surprised a lot of people! Lots of people thought girl!

We spent the rest of the day eating lunch with the fam and swimming at my sister’s neighborhood pool!

It was a perfect weekend in every way!

We still feel like we are floating on a big blue cloud! We are just overwhelmed with joy!

He has blessed us immeasurably more! We asked the Lord to give us what our family needed and He did! 🎉 Becoming a boy mom has brought trucks, tractors, dinosaurs, ball fields, lots of dirt, and so much FUN into my life! It’s an honor & privilege to raise TWO boys!! 🩵🩵 Thank you Jesus for this big, blue blessing! 🙌
