Everyday Encouragement: Jesus paid it all!

It is Easter week, a very sacred and Holy week.

The Christian song lyrics keep repeating in my heart..

“Jesus paid it all. All to Him I owe.”

~

I believe Easter is the most important holiday that we celebrate. Jesus came to earth, paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins on the cross, and He rose from the grave!

Really sit with that and think about the price He paid for us. It’s too high of a price to not dwell in it and allow it to have impact.

Jesus did this so that we can live a life of forgiveness, hope, freedom, joy, and peace that is found in salvation.

This isn’t religion, it is a personal relationship with Jesus that is life changing!

Years ago, I blogged about my own relationship with Jesus and how I came to know Him. I reshare that blog post each year during Easter!

Jesus changed my life. I have joy. It doesn’t mean that hardships do not come my way because they do. But, I have hope despite any challenge because of Jesus. I have put my whole life is in His hands and I have so much peace in that!

I hope you have experienced that same joy and if not, my prayer is that you will.

If you’re local and need a church to attend on Easter Sunday, we would love to have you at First Baptist Spartanburg! If you’re not local and want to watch the service, it is streamed online each week.

I hope everyone has a happy Easter filled with so much joy that truly only comes from Jesus!
