Hey, Hey!!
Happy Wednesday!
I’m back on the blog today with…
“a bit of this & that”
…featuring things from our week!
As always, this is our line- up for this & that:

Starting with…
This week:

I snapped this photo Sunday morning! Capers wore a “Cochran original,” one of his Daddy’s baby outfits to church. ❤️

Sunday was beautiful! We went to the park that evening..

…and took a stroll and found more pumpkins 😉

We had a Mickey Halloween Monday night in Halloween pjs + baked spooky cookies.
We love October 🧡
Bedsides that, I’m working “out of the office” a couple days this week! I always love seeing coworkers in person.
I also got to visit with my sweet friend Natalie and her sweet family last night, to meet new baby Sutton. I love our growing boy crew! 🩵
Looking Forward to:

It’s always a good sign when passport renewals are needed before the year is over!
These came in the mail recently and we’re excited about it. We have a 10 year anniversary coming up in December! 🤍
Currently Dreading:

This is me. Haha. I’m trying to clean out + purge closets before the upcoming holidays and this meme is me every time. I need to be brutal with my closet.. if I haven’t worn something in a year, I’m probably not going to! Case closed!
Reminiscing On:

This!

We had the sweetest trip to the pumpkin patch this year! The matching Jack o lantern sweaters + crisp October weather.. it was perfect!
These are the moments I’ve always dreamed of.. taking my babies to the pumpkin patch 🎃
Currently watching/ reading:

Let’s talk about what I’m watching..
Y’all know I got really into DWTS last season. I thought that season could not be topped but this season is just as incredible! Great stars, great pairings, great music, great dances. I’m loving it!
I am watching the new season of Golden Bachelor… it’s okay! I’m not loving Mel as the lead but I do like some of the contestants.
Listening to:

Okay.. story time: two summers ago, this song came on randomly while driving up to Jeter Mountain Farm on my birthday. It’s called “seed of faith.” It’s about having a seed of faith and God sending the rain to make things flourish!
That summer, it actually poured down rain while we were picking berries on my birthday. It turned out to be one of our favorite days and this song was so fitting. It became a family favorite that year!
The other day as we were driving, Brewer said, “can we listen to the berry song?” This is the song he was referring to 🥹 and now it’s been on repeat again! Give it a listen if you haven’t already!
What’s on the Menu:

It’s soup season!
We had potato soup in the crock pot while we were at church on Sunday.

My sweet friend Dorinda brought over white chicken chili a few weeks ago while Harry was out of town. We loved it so much that I’ve made it a few times since then, including this week!

…Harry also had a craving for Bruster’s fall flavors this week! The boys approved.
I’m Loving:

This just screams, Halloween in the 90’s, right?! 🤩
I found these leaf bags last year and we loved them so much + it was so nostalgic, we filled leaf bags again this year!
Find them, here: Jack o lantern Leaf Bags
Weekend Vibes:

We haven’t had a weekend getaway in a while! We are headed to IOP this weekend for a little “autumn by the sea” before all the Halloween fun next week! 🎃
Bible Verse:

This verse was in my daily devotional this week! Prayer is about having intentional conversation with the Lord. Your prayer life is important and this verse reminds us that!
I love this quote: “If you pray to God regularly, irregular things will happen on a regular basis.”
~
That covers a bit of “this & that” from our week. I hope you’re having a sweet autumn week too!
I’ll be back here next Wednesday 👻

Hey, Kristen! I’ve been following your sweet family blog for the past two-ish years. If you have the chance, I tagged you in a fall challenge. I’d be delighted to read your responses about you and your family’s favorite fall traditions!
