Hey, Hey!
I have a blog post today that is all about…

this sweet baby of mine!

Capers is 1… and three quarters! These baby years are so precious, so I’m doing a little quarterly blog post about all the milestones and things he’s up to!

He is our sweet, tender, gentle, and softhearted little one!

Some of his favorite things include eating a lot of food.. all the time LOL. Anything pasta is his favorite these days!

He LOVES to say the blessing. When we say, “let’s say the blessing,” he immediately puts his hands together, smiles the entire time, and shouts “Amen” at the end!

It’s the sweetest thing ever

We made a lot of sweet summer memories with him this year! He loves the pool!
Read our summer recap, here!

We loved having two babies running on the beach this year! He kept up with big brother this summer.
Capers continues to be a mama’s boy! He’s my Velcro baby. He’s attached to my hip!
He does really well at nursery class but most places, he’s not letting me out of his sight!
He will follow me around the house at home too. I love that about him and I’m soaking in these sweet days 🤍

Capers loves play dates with our sweet friends. He loves other littles so much!

This summer, we took a little pause in summer fun so this sweet baby could have a procedure for ear tubes.

After lots of infections, I’m so happy to say we have NOT had any infections post tubes!

We were so happy to get him some relief and he did great the day of procedure.

He was drowsy for a bit and then back to his silly self at home.

Big brother went to the grocery store with Daddy that day and brought home donuts. 🥹
Back to pointing at planes after his procedure 🙂

He sure does love his big brother!

He looks up to Brewer and wants to do everything he does!

Capers is also a big fan of the puppy brothers

I gave Capers his first hair trim at home earlier this year. His second hair trim happened at the barber shop! He did great sitting on his Daddy’s lap and letting the barber cut!

Both boys got haircuts that day!

This picture summarizes his personality. Just tender and always observing!

I still just get giddy that less than 2 years ago, this baby made us a family of 4.

Capers does pretty well on the go! We took him to several spartanburger games this year. He loved walking to see the mascot & running around the play area.

He also loves his family! Here he is with his sweet cousin.
I love when he picks up the play phone and pretends to call people and say “hello.” He “calls” Nana a lot!

The outdoors is his instant happy, especially riding in the blue car.

We closed out summer fun taking the boys to feed the duckies. Capers loved this!! Both boys did!

He loves a sweet treat like his mama 😉

We’re already making sweet fall memories. This is his first fall where he’s walking!

He loved strolling around the apple festival

and his very first football game at his DaDa’s Alma mater! We made it to half time after we did a little watching and a lot of going up and down the stairs lol

More things Capers loves:
-He’s always been a great sleeper 🙌
-He loves to eat AND throw food
-saying “Mama” on repeat 🫶
-He also says “walalala” for water

Things Capers does NOT love
-He does not like to go in the car seat but does fine once the car is moving
-When he’s tired, you will know!! He does not like to be up past bedtime.
-Sometimes, he doesn’t like diaper changes. It just depends on the moment.

My sweet Capers!

We love you so big!!
