Hello!!! Ahh!!

It is the last week of school around here!

Which also means, we are nearing the end of May!

Today, I wanted to blog and catch up on all of the sweet May things. I’m going to restructure some blog things but I’ll get to that at the end of today’s post!

Let’s dive into May:

Spring Diaries…

Earlier this spring, we did some planting and all the things continued this month!

The boys found a birds nest that had fallen out of a tree in our yard! We were able to nestle it back into the tree.

The big boys built a box for the garden earlier this spring.

A trip to get flowers and plants

This makes me happy

Lots of walks around the meadow this spring

I’ve said this before but we live in a (small) neighborhood and it’s surrounded by farm land with cows & other animals! We love the little meadow here 🫶

And now that it’s the middle of May, we are getting some veggies!

And fruit! Ahh. Harry planted blueberry bushes several years. We started getting berries last year and these are the first berries this year!

This is Capers favorite spot in the yard! He loves crawling to the garden and grabbing the windmill! 🫶

(Disclaimer: last year’s garden did not thrive! Remember, we planted donut seeds instead? 😉 so the garden this year is bringing us joy lol, bare with my excitement!)

Brewer’s first trip to Carowinds!

It was a fun family Friday!

Brewer rode his very first roller coaster! He’s an adrenaline junkie 🌀

Mother’s Day..

Jesus answered all my prayers when these babies made me a mommy!

Mothering Brewer and Capers is the absolute joy of my life!

We spent Mother’s Day morning celebrating the baptism of our sweet niece, Kate! Brewer and I attended the service while Harry stayed home with Capers who was under the weather. We did brunch after and Harry popped in! It was a very special morning. 🤍

Before I go, let’s talk…. Blog restructure!

This space is SO special to me. I love my blog so much but I’ve realized I needed a small change!

For a long time, I strived to blog twice a week. Now, I need something that’s a bit more attainable for my life these days. I’m a busy mama who also wants to be present at all times.

My solution is.. I’m going to stick to blogging once a week, every Wednesday.

So what about all my monthly posts..? Well I don’t want to give those up so I’m renaming them and you’ll see them every other month:

I hope that makes sense! I’m off to close out the school year & celebrate 10 years of teaching! Can you believe it? I can not!
