I haven’t blogged all month 🫣

I missed a week and thought oh, I’ll pick back up the next week and that became the pattern this month. Life just happened!

It’s the last day of April and I want to catch up. There have been some fun memories this month, including: a first time family experience, Easter, a trip to the Strawberry patch, and other fun springy things!

~

But first.. let me start by catching up on our spring weekend getaway. We closed out March in IOP!

We arrived in IOP on a Friday morning!

We quickly got settled and headed out for a beach day.

We had perfect 65 degree spring weather this trip.

I love this boy so much!

Brewer was very into building forts, forests, and all sorts of things, on the beach..

..and playing in the water! He lovesss the ocean!

We also took several walks down the beach to our favorite spot to see dolphins.

Capers has had a couple, on and off ear infections since having the flu in February. The doctor told us this is totally normal post having flu. About mid weekend, his ears started bothering him during this trip.

Once that started, Harry & I took turns on the beach and we took Capers went for lots of walks around the island!

Front porch ice-cream dates are our thing when we’re at the beach house! This is how we ended each night.

We had a fun, low key weekend and that Sunday afternoon, we headed home. This trip got us so excited for beach days this summer!

Onto some fun things from April starting with..

Our very first Spartanburgers game!

That’s right, baseball is back in the burg baby!

Nothing says baseball like a giant pretzel, right?

This was such a fun night!

I gave tickets to Harry on Valentines Day for the first Spartanburgers exhibition game!

This was a first time memory for our fam and a special night to be apart of!

This boy had the most fun!

Now, let’s talk Easter!

We had a fun filled Easter weekend!

On Good Friday, we had a resurrection party and an Easter egg hunt at Brewer’s school.

Capers helped Brewer open his eggs 🩵

It was a sweet Easter morning

We also sprinkled jellybeans in the yard the night before Easter and the bunny worked his magic the next morning. Watch here 😉

Then, we loaded up the car and headed to Clover for Easter! We went to church where I grew up + where Harry and I said, “I do.”

But first… all the front porch Easter pictures!

This takes me back to my childhood, taking allllll the Easter Sunday pictures and as a kid, you’re ready for it to be over lol.

After church, we spent the afternoon at Nana’s!

We had a sweet Easter Sunday eating lunch and hiding eggs with these cuties!

Jesus is the single & greatest gift in my life.

I’m so grateful for His blessings on me.

Other fun springy things this month..

All the outdoor fun, playing in the yard, planting a garden, tending to flowers, and taking many walks to see the cows on the meadow!

Saturday mornings at the T-ball field! I love seeing these two on the field together.

Brewer had his 4 year wellness visit. He’s still in the 90+ percentile. The 4 year visit calls for a big cup of ice-cream with sprinkles!

Brewer also had his years rechecked and we are in the clear! 🙌

Friday night… lol

Saturday night; Harry and I went back to our town square and had a date night at Sophia’s (so yum!) while the boys had a fun night with Nana.

That wraps up things that kept us busy this month!

I missed my blog space and I’m excited to get back to my blog routine in May!
