Capers: 15 month update!

Today, I have a very sweet blog post…

Today, I’m here to blog a quarterly update for our sweet Capers because we are hopping into 15 months!

I blogged monthly updates for his first year and I’ll continue with quarterly posts for a while because these baby years & milestones are precious!

We love this blonde hair, blue eyed baby boy so much!

Let’s get into all the things he’s up to these days:

He turned 1 on December 1st! He was such sweet, tiny newborn for his first Christmas. He was much more lively for his second Christmas.

Capers loves to play with his toys! His favorites include: this iconic phone (lol), the play kitchen and all the accessories, his grocery buggy, the ball pit, and he likes his brother’s toys best 😉

Capers is cloooooseee to walking independently! He’s walking with this little walker, his grocery buggy, or holding one of our hands.

He’s been taking his time with this. I think he has the mentality of, “That’s what my mama is for. She carries me so why should I walk?” Lol jk!

He does pretty well when we go to restaurants. We just can’t stay long! Ha.

He does pretty well in restaurants because he loves to eat! All the time! Anything! I can’t really think of a food that he doesn’t like these days.

Capers has the best bond with his brother. He really looks up to Brewer and wants to do or play whatever Brewer is doing. They melt me 🫶

Capers also loves bath time! He’s a big fan of splashing in the tub.

Capers is a mama’s boy! Through and through 🫶

We also think he is my little mini me

He’s a big fan of Daddy too! “DaDa” makes him laugh so big!

He loves to attack Daddy as soon as he comes home too.

He loves to be outside, all the time! He will go to the back door and jump until we go out.

This makes us laugh! He’s obsessed with the dishwasher. Anytime he hears it open, he’s on the move to get to the dishwasher as fast as he can. He’s fascinated by it, lol.

Some Sunday mornings, we don’t make it through church service. Ha! For now, I still keep Capers with us during the service. Some Sundays, he does well and other Sundays, we end up in the mommy/ baby room! We’ve met a lot of sweet mamas & babies in there while watching the live stream.

Valentines Day! He’s always up for any kind of family fun.

Capers had his first big sickness a couple weeks ago. He came down with the flu and eventually passed it over to mama! It was not fun. It broke my heart to see him so sick. We took in all the extra cuddles ❤️
