Happy Thursday!!

It feels like it’s been a minute since I last blogged. Last week’s posts were earlier in the week and this week’s posts are later in the week, so I guess it has been a bit!

This Week:

Whew! This week we are happy to be on the upper end of sickness! The flu hit 2/4 in our household last week (Capers & I). 2/4 was better than 4/4, for sure! We have enjoyed all the better health + outdoor time this week!

Looking Forward To:

March 1st is Saturday which means all things spring is ahead!!! The spring decor is coming out & I’m so excited! We are ready for lots more days like this…

Currently Dreading:

Tis the season for….

I went out last night with friends and the group chat this week has cracked me up! Prepping ourselves for tanning season.. It’s great to have a tan but whew, it’s not so fun applying, waiting for it to dry, wondering if you missed a spot, etc! Again, tis the season! Lol

Watching/ Reading:

I’m watching the new season of The Bachelor. It’s not my favorite season but it’s still entertaining!

I finally finished the book sequel, “It Starts with us.” Loved it! It’s a lighter version compared to the first book, “It Ends with us.” I wish there would be another movie but I’m assuming there will not be after all the drama between Blake Lively & Justin Baldoni. Isn’t that all just so crazy?! Maybe they’ll find new actors to create a movie for the sequel?

Anywho, I’m onto my next book, “One Night on an Island.” This is another book that I started years ago & never finished. It’s been a cozy read for February! I’ll report back once I’m done.

Listening to:

Brewer has been learning about emotions at school and we’ve been listening to him tell us allll about it! It’s got him saying the sweetest & funniest things!

He’s trying so hard not to smile while making a sad face! LOL

We were playing outside one day this week and when Harry pulled up, Brewer said, “my heart isn’t empty anymore. Daddy’s home, my heart feels happy!” I mean… 🥹 so sweet!

What’s on the Menu

I’ve made two really good dishes this week..

Other than that, we’ve had left overs, I’ve been out one night, and Harry has a T-Ball meeting tonight, so I’ll whip up a quick spaghetti for the boys!

I’m Loving:

This dress..

I need Harry to take me somewhere so I can wear this dress again! Lol! It was perfect for DWTS this week, it would be great for date night or girls night out!

Weekend Vibes:

Yay for it being Friday Eve + a weekend ahead!

Tomorrow, I have a hair appointment!

Saturday, is March 1st which means….

The spring decor comes down from the attic on March 1st! I’m so excited!!! In terms of color pallet, spring is it for me! Give me all the bright, fun happy colors!

I’ll be getting the house ready for spring with the babies while Harry goes to the Clemson/ USC baseball game with his Dad in Greenville on Saturday!

Sunday, we are getting together with my family to celebrate a few family birthdays!
