Happy Wednesday!

In my last blog post (tap here) I mentioned that we were expecting snow over the weekend! Well.. we did in fact get our snow days here in the south! We did not get as much snow as we were expecting but enough for a weekend full of fun!

Today, I am going to recap the snow days a bit + share lots of snow gear for January’s edition of “What I Wore Wednesday.”

Sometimes these posts are about what I wore but sometimes it’s about the whole fam. Today, it’s about what we wore. I’m including the whole fam. 🤍

This snow was extra special because it was Capers’ first snow + Brewer’s first snow that he will remember!

The last time we had snow, it was the week of Brewer’s first birthday so, it’s been nearly 3 years. Snow days in the south are a big deal!

It began snowing Friday morning and we were all home!

By Friday afternoon, we had enough snow to go outside and play in!

Day 2 was for sledding!

Brewer will be talking about this for a while! He actually asked us during the snow days, “where did the snow come from?” We told him, “Jesus sent the snow from above the clouds.”

We loved every minute of our mini winter wonderland from Heaven!

Now, let’s get into what we wore…

Let’s start with the littles! Capers was set thanks to the big snow we had the winter Brewer turned one. But, we had to quickly order Brewer some snow gear! I found snow bibs on major sale. We went with rain boots because well… it’s the south and we knew we would get more wear out of rain boots!

I rounded up lots of things that we purchased + more things for all of you! I included things for boys & girls!

What did mom & dad wear…

Harry & I have had snow gear for quite some time. We just take it out of the closet when needed. I rounded up lots of similar things, some pieces are even on sale!

The weather is calling for potential more snow next week! If that happens, we will be ready! It’s a great time to stock up, especially on those sale items!
