Hi blog fam!!
I hope everyone had the merriest Christmas with those you love most!
On Monday, I recapped our Christmas season leading up to Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
Find that, here: Tis the Season’
This week has been for celebrating the big days! I am blogging a little recap today!

Christmas Eve ✨

All was merry and bright!

We spent the morning at home. I’m still treasuring Brewer carrying the elf everywhere this Christmas season ❤️

After naps, we got ready and headed to the candle light service at church.
The reason for the season is Jesus!
This service was beautiful.. well the 3/4 of it that we saw before the boys needed a break! Haha.. real life!

That evening, we celebrated Christmas with Honey & Papa!

That night, we did all of our Christmas Eve traditions with the boys!
Starting with jammies.. my mom started this tradition when I was a kid. We always opened a new pair of pajamas on Christmas Eve night and I love carrying that tradition into my own family!
The sweetest little bestie brothers 💚❤️

I always get me and Harry something similar to match the boys too! I wore red like Capers and Harry wore green pajama pants like Brewer.

Also.. when I was a kid, me and my siblings would always watch this movie together on Christmas Eve night and that’s another favorite tradition I’ve carried into my own family!

Ready for Santa!

Yay!!

And off to bed!

Someone else was ready for Santa too 🐾

When the boys were fast asleep, we stepped outside and took away a tarp that was covering this.. the boys’ very first swing set 🥹
Daddy Claus & Papa Claus have worked hard on this! They put all the big pieces together while the boys weren’t home one day and we hid them in the garage and on the side of the house. A couple days before Christmas, they assembled it all together and covered it with a tarp. We did our best to keep the boys busy and out of the backyard! I can’t believe we pulled it off!

This is always a special night for Mama Claus & Daddy Claus playing Santa!!
That night when we went to sleep, Harry said, “I think this is going to be a Christmas to remember.” He was right… 💫
Christmas morning… this video fills my mama heart with so much joy!

The magic of Christmas morning ✨

The boys had fun playing with all the gifts Santa brought!

Both of the boys got their own little farm.. so sweet 🥹

Last Christmas, Capers was just 3 weeks old! This Christmas he’s full of giggles and energy! ❤️

After playing with Santa gifts for a bit, we noticed a note that Santa left…

After reading the note from Santa, Brewer flew to the back door, with Capers following him! We threw on jackets + shoes and outside we went!

A happy boy!

Another happy boy!

They were SO happy and excited!

I’ll never forget the year of the swing set!
We thought their ages were perfect for this ❤️

After playing outside for a while, we went back in and opened the gifts under the tree!

I’ll never forget these special memories ✨🎄
Highlight of the morning.. Brewer noticing that Santa ate his cookies. This video melts me 🥹

We had breakfast casserole, danish, and mimosas for breakfast!

Then, we headed to Nana’s house for Christmas Day part 2!

Merry, Merry!!

My mom always makes Christmas so special!

I made a “pull apart, garlic bread, Christmas tree” as an appetizer by half baked harvest! It was so yum! Her recipes are wonderful. You can follow her on instagram for yummy ideas!

We did an Italian dinner for Christmas with the fam!
It was truly just a wonderful Christmas Day!

The day after Christmas is for playing with toys from Santa Claus and family… and absolutely nothing else!

The day after Christmas.. everyone’s house looks like this right?
We always take the tree down two days after Christmas, so we did that this morning and then the mail arrived….

Brewer and Capers had a special letter from Buddy the Elf.

Brewer was so excited!!
Until next year… 💫

You can find us here if you need us! I love logging off all social media platforms for a few days during the last week of the year.
~
The day after Christmas is for sitting in the Christmas mess, playing with new Christmas toys with the boys, & taking it all in. These few days when I log off social media are for getting the house back in order then nothing else but continuing to play the boys Christmas gifts, making memories as a family at home, and reflecting on the Lord’s blessings this year!
Happy last week of 2024!
I’ll be back here Tuesday for my final blog post of the year!
