Capers: NINE month update!

September… ahh! We are officially falling into the very best time of year with the sweetest NINE month baby!!

Capers had a lot of experiences & milestones this month and I’m so excited to recap it all:

He’s really been showing off how strong he is, this month! Capers has been scoot crawling but now, he can officially push up to all fours.

He keeps up with big brother! You can always find them crawling around on the kitchen floor. Lol

Their bond is becoming more special month my month! 💙🩵

Capers loves to be outside! It’s instant joy and soothing to him to just be outdoors!

We enjoyed more summer fun this month! I took the boys to the local children’s museum and this was Capers first time sitting at the water table! He was taking it all in, haha.

He continues to LOVE bath time!

He loves to kick and splash in the tub.

This month, we had a play date with the boy crew!!

Emily & I prayed for these new baby boys and it’s surreal to be holding both of them!

Capers and Levi Rhett are already the best little buddies!

Capers loves his weekday nursery class!!

He attends the nursery class at Brewer’s school while I’m teaching live classes!

Clearly, he loves it!

Goodness, I love him!

Haha, back in the kitchen floor! He loves the pup pups and looking out the back door.

Angel baby.. there’s just something about a sweet sleeping baby! He continues to be an amazing sleeper. He sleeps 12ish hours at night. His nap routine is something like: morning cat nap, two hour nap mid day, evening cat nap

He’s eating all of the purées. There really hasn’t been a flavor that he doesn’t love! He also had his first taste of ice-cream this month. He was a big fan!

The gummy smile!! I love it! And… over the past week, he reallly began teething. We are starting to see his very first tooth come through on the bottom. He’s had some rough moments over the past week with those whittle teethies but overall he’s handled it like a champ!

We went to a first birthday party to celebrate his little girl friend, Annie Beth!

We had a fun Sunday afternoon last weekend, at Nana’s house! He’s all smiles with Nana!

What’s cookin’ good lookin’? This is also the month that Capers began sitting up on his own! He’s holding himself up really well while sitting.

It’s been so fun for him! He’s crawling well + sitting up so he’s enjoying things like this.. playing in the kitchen! ❤️

He loves Daddy just like Brew Brew!

And about a week ago…. We started introducing him to all things FALL!

Starting with.. decorating the house + watching, “It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown” for our first fall Friday night!

We are SO excited to introduce him to our very favorite season and all of our fall traditions!

My heart is so giddy! I couldn’t love these little pumpkins more if I tried!!

And to close out the month of August, we snuck away to our happy place for a few days for LDW!

Every time we see this sweet baby at the coast, we see his enthusiasm for the beach more & more! This trip, he was sitting up in the sand, picking the sand up, throwing the sand, and laughing!
