Hello!! Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a great July 4th week/ weekend. I recapped how we spent our week in Saturday’s blog post.

We have also been celebrating my sweet father in law on his retirement this summer!

This photo was taken at a retirement luncheon a couple weeks ago!
Saturday evening, we celebrated with the entire family in town!
It was a fun time and it felt special to mention on a “Motivation Monday” blog post. My father in law had a very inspiring career. He was very passionate about his work & taking care of people, a true legend just like his sash says. I’ve always been so proud to call Dr. Cochran my father in law!
A very deserved retirement for my in laws and that certainly gives me motivation on a Monday!! Wake up, work hard, and make a difference just like he did!

This leads me into this verse:

I recently read about this verse in a devotion.
I took some notes that I wanted to share:
There could always be something on the line.. a dream, a relationship, an experience of God, etc. If there is something on the line in your life, ask. seek. knock. to get the clarification you need.
When chasing dreams, things may not go exactly like we thought they would. It’s important to adapt to circumstances and remember that God is leading. If we put a situation in His hands, He will take care of it!
Lastly, surround yourself with friends and family who do not diminish your spirit, but rather they champion it. It’s important to have the right people in your corner when chasing dreams in life!
Oh.. and don’t be so hard on yourself or others. We’re all just out here seeking what the Lord has put on our hearts!

I hope something in today’s post gave you motivation to begin your week!
I’ll be back here, tomorrow!
