I am out of town this week but I’m back today with my second blog post for this week!
Today, I am blogging this month’s edition of, “Tell All Tuesday.” This month’s topic is all about “self care.”

I know many of us wear lots of hats as wives, moms, employer, coworker, friend, daughter, sister, etc.
I know we all love pouring into these roles the Lord has given us on a daily basis. It’s also important to take care of YOU!
So today, I’m blogging my top 10 tips for, self care:
1. Quiet Time- This is my favorite part of everyday! Having my quiet time with Jesus is my number one tip for self care. Starting each day with Him sets the tone for my entire day!
2. Getaway– Change your scenery to clear your mind, no matter what that looks like: the beach, the lake, a nice park, any sort of vacation, or weekend away! It helps clear your mind!
3. Bubble bath– something about lighting some candles with soft music and taking a bubble bath is therapeutic for me! Throw in a face mask and staying consistent with good skincare routine is also a favorite form of self care!
4. Read a book- I love to read! Slipping my mind into a book and forgetting about everything else is heavenly!
5. Be outside– This can be a rocking chair on the front porch with a glass of wine at night or taking a walk.. I love the fresh air of being outside!
6. Talking to friends– Sometimes girl chat is all you need or a girls night out! This fuels my soul in a way that I can’t describe.
7. Take a drive & listen to music– Being in the car alone is rare these days but on the occasion that I am in the car alone, I love to turn on my favorite music or podcast while driving around town to run errands. This feels like self care to me!
8. Watch a favorite movie/ show- I don’t watch a lot of tv or movies but I have my favorites. Y’all know I watch the bachelor on Monday nights when it’s in season. Having that “unwind” time on a Monday night where I don’t have to think about anything else is nice! Same goes for a good movie, especially during cozy months!
9. Work- out- Move your body, every single day! No matter that that looks like: walking, yoga, lifting weights, etc. find what you love! Don’t do something you hate!
10. Social Media Breaks- Last but not least, it’s nice to just “turn off” for a while. Everything works better when it gets to “reset.” It’s the same for us as people too! I love my social media breaks that I take throughout the year and it makes me even more excited to come back after a break!
And those are my top 10 tips for “self- care!”
