Hello and Happy MAY!!
We are ringing in the month of May with our sweet little five month baby!

It’s been five months with the happiest baby ever!
I’m recapping Capers month: all of his adventures, likes, dislikes, and more!

This month was filled with all the outdoor time!

We kicked off the month of April with spring break!

We had a picnic in the park!

Capers had his first zoo trip with big brother!

There’s nothing like taking a break at the zoo to feed our sweet baby.. truly! I love that littles slow us down! ❤

This is one of my favorite photos! Brewer wanted to hold hands leaving lunch after the zoo. Family of 4!

During spring break, we had slow days at home too!

After spring break week, Capers started weekday church nursery with his brother!
Naturally, the first few days were difficult for me but way easier this time around with baby #2. I’ve been reminded of why I moved to virtual teaching to begin with, when Brewer was born! I’m really grateful for a job with flexibly that allows me to put family first.
Now we’re all thriving and Capers has loved it since day 1. Everyone at weekday church is family to us!

Capers really is the happiest and most content baby. We are constantly like, where did he come from!

We say he’s like a little angel baby dropped out of Heaven on December 1st.
Those sweet hands ❤

Capers learned a new trick this month..

He can roll over!
Roll with it baby!

4 boys! Capers is starting to watch the dogs and pay them more attention. He isn’t bothered by them in the slightest.

He goes to all of big brother’s t-ball games with us and just hangs out! He does great at the games!

Capers gets to be a part of all the playdates these days! I love being a mommy to two ❤

Capers went strolling around with us in downtown Inman on a Saturday morning.

He really does look up to his brother!
Honey & Papa came over and watched the boys a few nights ago. They noticed too just how much Capers eyes follow Brewer around the room.

The boys!

When Brewer says, “Mommy, I want to hold “Papers.”” ❤

Capers was sleeping so well at night, like 10-12 hours, so, we moved him to his crib this month. We felt like we were tip toeing around in the dark once he went to sleep in our room.
He has done great in the crib until he learned how to roll over. Some nights, he will roll over and wake up. I think it’s because he’s in a sleep sack and can’t figure out how to roll back over!
On the nights this happens, I bring him to our room and put him in the “snuggle me” in our bed and he goes right back to sleep!
Little snuggle bug ❤

I snapped this photo of him on his Daddy’s lap! I love his little hands and feet.
We also had our hardest night yet with Capers earlier this month. He was having belly issues one night and we tried everything to soothe him and nothing was working. Our hearts ached for him!! It’s tough to see your baby uncomfortable or upset. It was the night before I had to be in Columbia for a face to face // all staff work day. It was a night of little sleep but thankfully the next morning, he got relief and it has not been a reoccurring thing! Praise Jesus!

At his check up a couple weeks ago, he weighed 17 lbs. #ChunkyMonkey

Capers went to Judson’s birthday party with me and Brewer this month! He’s going to have so many sweet friends his age.

He sure does love Miller Kate

Aunt Kacy came to town to meet Capers and see Brewer play t-ball! She’s the literal best!

Mom life… haha! The only laundry I enjoy is baby & toddler laundry!

I snapped this photo this past weekend of the boys hanging out in Brewer’s room! They really are turning into the sweetest brother besties, already!

Go buddy, go! We are so grateful for another strong and healthy boy! Thank you, Jesus!

Now, let’s talk about some more things Capers likes:
-being outside on the back porch
-pulling mommy’s hair
-eating
-doing the wide smile grin
-laughing
-being held

Let’s talk about some things Capers does not like:
-loud noises can still upset him but he’s doing well being around a crowd of people
-being put down during a moment he wants to be held. I love that he wants to be held!

It’s been another sweet month with our buddy!

We love you big, baby Capes!
*I’ll be back on the blog next Monday!*
