“What do ya know, I’m three months old!!”

It has been 3 months with our smiley and giggly baby boy!

He really is the happiest baby!!

Today, I’m going to recap his month 3: all the things he’s been up to, new experiences, likes, dislikes, and more!

Here we go.. 🩵

It’s been another sweet month with our blue eyed boy!

His personality really started showing this month! He’s full of joy.. truly!

~

We started month 3 with a fun adventure out of the house to meet Emily & Judson at the children’s museum in Rutherfordton! Capers beebopped right along in the bassinet/ stroller and did great!

Funny story.. this was like my first real outing with both boys, by myself! When we got to the museum, I realized a wheel was broken on our stroller. Ha, I panicked slightly but thankfully Emily and I have the same stroller so, I was able to use her stroller base! It was just a funny real life mom moment standing there on the sidewalk with two littles and a broken stroller wheel.

Shoutout to mockingbird who sent me a new wheel without question! Best stroller company ever. We love mockingbird!

Last month Capers started smiling but this month he started giggling! It is the sweetest sound. ever. He is truly so happy!

Capers was given his Daddy’s silver baby rattle this month! Brewer has his Daddy’s silver baby spoon and now Capers has his rattle.

He loves big brother, Brewer!

He is always smiling when Brewer is around.

This is how he looks at big brother, all. the. time. It’s so sweet!

Capers continues to love being held!

He also celebrated another holiday this month!

We have gone for lots of winter walks all bundled up in the stroller!

Overall, he does really well in the stroller and the car seat.

He’s tolerating tummy time more & more each day!

He’s getting strong!

Tummy time with the water play mat was also a win this month!

He also loves to kick and stretch on the floor play-mat!

He took a few naps in his crib this month! He still sleeps in the bassinet in our room at night.

This month, he went from sleeping 6 hour stretches to sleeping 8 hour stretches at night! He’s been an amazing sleeper. This was around the same age that Brewer started sleeping well too.

He makes the funniest noises while sleeping. We joke that he sounds like a baby pig! Lol

And speaking of baby noises, he sneezes and makes this little “a- woooo” sound after. Haha, it’s so sweet!

He went out with mommy & the girls for dinner this month!

And silliness before bedtime

The pups continue to do well with Capers! His eyes follow them around the room just like his eyes follow Brewer around the room.

We had a park play date with Emily, Annie Beth and big brothers, Brewer & Tucker! We love our time with them.

We also had a family night to celebrate family birthdays! I know Susie & Capers are going to grow up the best of friends.

We are getting ready for all things spring! I’ve been feeding baby outside on the porch lately.

I have loved every minute of these sweet newborn days with him!

I am living in my happiest happiest season of life!

I love being “mommy” to these two more than anything in the world!

Let’s talk more things that Capers likes:

-He has warmed up to the swing this month! I think it’s a win, he seems to really like it now

-He loves his kick & play piano!

-Mommy & Daddy! He loves to laugh at us

-Taking naps on our chest! He still loves to be held. That is one of the things I love most about him!

Capers Dislikes:

-He’s not a huge fan of blankets or being swaddled. He kicks his way out in no time!

-He doesn’t like to be in one spot for too long if he’s awake. We need lots of movement!

That’s one reason we went with mallard ducks for his nursery theme. 😉 They’re a bit coastal + outdoorsy. We have always loved ducks!
