Hi! It’s me!

I know I know, I took a very unintentional blog break!!

Two weeks ago, I don’t even know what happened, haha! I’m going to say that I’m still on maternity leave and I’m wrapped up in sweet baby snuggles.

I took some time away from the blog the month Capers was born and apparently I did that this month too! I love getting lost in the sweet newborn days! ❤

Then last week, I got really sick and that’s why I didn’t come back to the blog. But today, I’m here and I’m so excited to catch up!! I’m going to recap our Valentine week because it was Capers’ first Valentines + Brewer was so into the holiday this year and I never want to forget it!!

Leading up to Valentines Day, Brewer and I did some fun baking in the kitchen!

I had a little Galentine night with my friend Emily!! She lives super close to me and we love having “bachelor watch nights” together! We had to make Valentine week extra festive!

Brewer and I also prepped all the Valentines for his party at school!

And nothing says Valentines Day like red roses! 😍

Valentines Day morning!!

I love all of the little holidays in between the big holidays! I have so much fun making little valentine buckets for the boys.

Fun fact: Last Valentines Day, I bought these two little Valentine buckets in hopes that we would have a second baby by this years Valentines Day! God is good, y’all! I can’t wait to use these little buckets year after year 🥰

This is also the day I started feeling sick… I woke up on Valentines Day feeling a little under the weather. As the day went on, I felt worse and worse. I had all the symptoms: fever, chills, aches, and a sore throat.

We typically would do our traditional take- out meal on Valentines Day but instead, we had soup this year! Ha.

So thankful this Valentine of mine is there during sickness and in health! He really is the best y’all!

As the week went on, I was still fighting sickness but thankfully Harry was able to work from home a good bit to help!

We had our survival moments. Being sick and taking care of littles isn’t easy. Moments like this at the end of the day though, are just the best! I love their sweet brother bond. It melts my heart! ❤

Nana also sent a surprise valentines package during love week, for the boys!!

Brewer got a tractor! He lovesssss tractors!

And Capers got a sweet little teddy bear for his first Valentines Day!

The weekend was also veryyyyy low key! Harry brought home the goods to help me recover.

Brewer put his birthday present from Honey & Papa to good use!

After a weekend of rest, I was feeling soooo much better yesterday evening! Thank goodness, mama is back in order. Ha! We went for a walk and this was the sunset when we got home. It reminded me of a Valentine sunset with all the pink! 😍

And that was our Valentine week!! I want to bottle up these memories of our boys at these precious ages: newborn & 3 years! These will be the posts I love to look back on!
