Oh, what a fall, 2023!

Hey friends!!

Merry November 1st!

I hope you all had the best Halloween yesterday! We love Halloween around here because it’s the night Harry & I got engaged. This Halloween marked 9 years!

Today, I am going to recap our fun fall filled season leading up to Halloweekend, then I’ll dive into all of the Halloween fun!

It’s our last fall as a family of 3 and it’s certainly been one to remember! Brewer is so much more aware these days and was so into all of the fall activities this year!

We always begin the fall season by decorating the house and watching, The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown! It’s a tradition!

Annual Fall Home Tour

We loved being at the lake on warm days at the beginning of fall!! Something about being at Lake Lure, surrounded by the mountains this time of year.. ahh, makes me happy!

We went to a football game at Harry’s alma mater!

There are a few Apple orchards that we like to visit each fall. Sky Top is one of them! We’ve been going there since we were dating! It’s special taking our kids there now! (Kid- soon to be kids)

Apples, fall flowers, and pumpkins this time of year bring me so much joy! Especially when they’re on the kitchen island.

We had such a fun trip to Southport with the fam for Labor Day weekend!

Labor Day Weekend Recap

All of the fall, cozy pajamas this time of year bring me joy!

Brewer had his first trip to Bush N Vine! That’s a pumpkin patch back home in Clover where you can pick a pumpkin straight off the vine!

He was so proud of his pumpkin!

Just being a cute little country pumpkin, lol!

We enjoyed lots of simple fall moments back home in Clover this season!

Making s’mores in the backyard was also a fun memory!

Brewer supported the gamecocks this season, in true Carolina fashion- wearing the cockaboose!

Harry & I got to have a little evening date to the apple orchard back in my hometown- Windy Hill, while Brewer stayed with the grandparents!

We took our annual trip to Bonclarken to see all of the changing colors and leaves too! This is where I grew up going with my church and truly fell in love with Jesus!

We had to stop at Kilwins for icecream while we were in downtown Hendersonville!

We traveled to Columbia for my cousin, Abbie’s wedding on the “Brewer” side of the family! It was so fun!! Brewer loved the dance floor!

Fall also calls for cozy nights in pajamas at home watching cozy fall movies!

One of our absolute favorite fall traditions is visiting- Jeter Mountain Farm! This. This is our favorite apple orchard! It’s beautiful, I love their little market, everything about it speaks fall & charm. We had so much fun hanging out under the shade tree this year after picking apples!

Brewer has lived his best life this season on “school days.” Firefighter day was a big hit! Brewer loved the fire truck!

Our sweet little pumpkin!

And we have been steady growing another sweet pumpkin!

Visiting Strawberry Hill in the fall for fun, fall activities is a family favorite! The boys played on the big slides, Brewer got to pet some animals and feed cows, he played in the sandbox, got a pumpkin just his size to bring home, and lots more!

Y’all have heard me talk about this over & over… our big trip to Disney before Brewer becomes a big brother!

Disney Recap!

One of our simple yet favorite Halloween traditions… walking through a local neighborhood that I like to call “Halloween town” to see lots of fun Halloween decor! Truly, this neighborhood goes all out! Then, we go to the local, “Happy Hollow” park in the neighborhood! This night was so fun!

Harry took his annual shrimping trip with his dad and brothers this fall! They did a lot of catching this year!

Now, let’s recap our HALLO-WEEKEND!

We started with the fall festival Friday morning at Brewer’s sweet weekday church program!

They did a little parade, we played some games, and Brewer got to debut his sweet little tigger costume!

Friday night, we carved our jack o lantern! Our fall Friday nights are my favorite! We try to make those nights extra fun throughout the fall season!

Saturday, we had a baby sprinkle for baby boy!

Find the details, here!

On Sunday, we attempted trunk or treat and it was super crowded! So we skipped out on the line (because Brewer had a little cold, Harry was antsy, and I’m just way too pregnant- lol) and instead, we took Brewer to pick out candy! He was happy as a clam and we were all set for trick or treaters this week!

Tuesday morning was Halloween and Brewer woke- up to his boo bucket surprises! His bucket was filled with pajamas this year with all of his favorite characters!

See & Shop them, here!

Tigger found his Pooh Bear & his very own Christopher Robin for Halloween night!

Who remembers that I wore this same costume while pregnant with Brewer! 😉

Wings have been a Halloween tradition since the night Harry proposed! I love all of our little traditions like this!

Tigger was ready to go trick or treating around the neighborhood!

We had a sweet & fun Halloween night here in the meadow! Brewer was SO into the trick or treating this year!

It was a Halloween to remember with my honeys!

And bam! Just like that, it’s time for Christmas!

November 1st is my “annual take PTO” day and deck the halls! So that’s what I will be doing today! With me being reallllly pregnant, I’m giving myself through the upcoming weekend to finish everything! I’m excited for the next few days, to make our home cozy for the Christmas season! Gotta make it a little extra cozy this year to bring a baby home this season! 👶🏼❤️🎄

*I’ll be back on the blog, Monday!*

Merry November, sweet friends!
