Friday Eve & Halloweekend!!!
Today is also known as Thursday! Haha
Can you believe it’s the last weekend of October?! Y’all this month has been busy!
I think most Octobers are busy. They’re filled with lots of fun things!
This month alone, I’ve had a travel week for work, traveled out of town for a wedding, traveled for a sweet friend’s baby shower, we had our big trip to Disney, Harry is traveling this week, and there has been lots, lots more!
It’s been such a FUN month!
Let’s talk about all the things happening around here, this week specifically!
Here’s our This & That, line- up:
This Week: We’re home from Disney and I am in full baby mode with the nursery, washing baby clothes, and all the things! It’s been so sweet taking Brewer’s baby clothes out of the attic and washing them for the next baby to wear!
Harry is on his annual shrimping trip with his dad and brothers! (They have caught a lot of shrimp!) It’s such a fun trip that they do each year. He comes home tomorrow, so it’s just been me and Brew Bear most of the week!
Looking forward to: Baby sprinkle for baby boy #2!! Ahh! Life deserves to be celebrated and I’m so excited to celebrate another sweet baby boy with all of my favorite girlie pops at a baby sprinkle this weekend!!
Currently dreading: lol okay, I know this already seems laughable. I’ve been telling everyone this lately though… being 32 weeks pregnant with the abdominal/ back pain I’ve been having, sitting is the most uncomfortable. I feel better when I’m moving or laying completely down. It’s bothersome to just sit at the moment. I’ve been moving my computer to higher spaces so I can stand while working at times!
Reminiscing on: I’ll never get over this trip.. Brewer’s first trip to Disney!
Watching/ reading: I said this last month but I am literally loving, The Golden Bachelor! Gerry seems like such a good man with such a tragic story and it’s been neat watching his experience as, “the golden bachelor.”
Reading.. I have not been doing a lot of that lately! But I’m already looking through cozy Christmas books to have a good one ready when the decor comes out SO SOON! 😉
Listening to: right now as we speak, I am listening to this song! I’ve started thinking about a playlist for the hospital and this will be on that list!
What’s on the menu: Since it’s just me and Brewer this week, I have not been doing a lot of cooking. I’ve made it simple for Brewer & I around here.. spaghetti, hawaiian pizza, left overs!
I’m loving: this week, I had a hair appointment and it’s my last appointment before baby! I go every 3ish months and baby is due in less than 2 months! It’s always a good feeling to get the hair did!
And I went back to my signature nail color: pale pink! It’s been a while since I’ve had that color on my nails so I’m loving it!
Weekend Vibes: HALLOWEEKEND with our little pumpkin! Tomorrow, Brewer has a fall carnival at school, we have the sweet baby sprinkle on Saturday, and Sunday, I think we will take Brewer to our church trunk or treat for the first time! Halloween night, we will be home in our neighborhood! I’m so excited for ALL OF IT!
Bible Verse: “For everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 // I love this season that God has given us! Just really grateful for all that is happening around us- anticipating & expectant of new life to join our family so soon!
