I love this little boy so much it hurts!

Today, I’m blogging a new quarterly update on Brewer!
At this age, he’s learning & growing by the day. I love doing these quarterly updates at this age to reflect on all the growth! So let’s dive into what he’s been up to since turning 2.5 over the summer…

Isn’t this sweet? I love that he prays with us and says the blessing!

Brewer continues to love being outside, especially in his playhouse! This wooden farm house is a backyard favorite!

Brewer moved up to the 2K room with his friends at his weekday church program, back in August!

He is always so excited to be there!!

He learns about Jesus, does all sorts of fun activities, and he has the best of friends there who he talks about nonstop!

He’s learned about colors, shapes, letters, and numbers!
He can count to ten and knows some colors!

This was on a Sunday after church. He loves church too which makes us so happy!

He also loves grocery shopping after church..

Here we are another day, back in the grocery store! He loves to help wherever we go. Sometimes that makes for a wild adventure lol!

He continues to love water, including… bath time, a pool, the beach, and the lake!
Brewer also loves Daddy! They have such a special bond. Harry can make him laugh like no one else can!

Give him some dirt and a ball field and he’s so happy! I think I’m going to be a ball mom for sure! Lots of ball fields in my future!

If anyone is wondering if lovies still go everywhere with us… why yes they do! Lol, and if they get left anywhere, we’re in trouble. For the first time ever, they recently got left at daycare and we had to go hunt them down before bedtime!

He loves to crawl onto our bed during the day just to play or color!

Our dogs are so good with Brewer! They let him lay on them and both dogs play with him & entertain the shenanigans, lol.
3 sweet boys in this photo!

When falling asleep during nap time or bedtime, he loves to hold hands! So sweet!

He loves his family too, especially cousin Eleanor. He talks about her nonstop!

He has a special love for icecream!

He will ask for it occasionally when we leave daycare because we’ve treated him to icecream after school in the past! He loves those special days!

He’s become obsessed with checking the mailbox lately. He loves when he has mail, especially books from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library!

His love for animals is so pure & sweet!

Brewer has loved all of our fall adventures this season. He does really well when we take him places and I think it’s because we always have taken him places. Having a baby didn’t stop us from having fun, if anything it made us want to plan more fun things & make all of the memories with him. We will do the same with the next baby!

Look at that happy little face at Sky Top this season!

Our little country boy!

His love for apples continues! Last year and this year, he has picked apples straight from the trees in the orchard and bit right in!

I love being this little boy’s mommy more than anything in the entire world! He’s so fun, sweet, loving, funny, and the one who made me a mommy first!

Another icecream date! Vanilla with sprinkles for Brewer, always!

Brewer’s big trip to Disney before becoming a big brother was SO MUCH FUN!
We knew we wanted to do something special with Brewer prior to him becoming a big brother and Disney was the answer!

He has become obsessed with “tunkins” this year! We love his love for pumpkins and Halloween. He is definitely our child! We are looking forward to Halloween with him over the next week!

Let’s talk about more things Brewer loves these days:
-Halloween decor
-Christmas movies.. haha yes! We have already watched a few!
-The lawn mower
-Tractors // he can point one out every time we pass one
-His Mickey Mouse // ever since Disney, he loves for Mickey to tag along just like lovies
-He continues to do a great job sleeping in his big boy bed
-He loves to hug and kiss the baby in my belly! When asked if he is going to share certain things with baby, he says, “mine!” (We shall see how this goes…)

Let’s talk about things Brewer does not love these days:
-being told no, he can have some moments when he doesn’t get his way
-brushing his teeth
-having his hair combed

Improvement area:
-He went through a phase of not liking long car rides but lately he hasn’t minded them, including the 8 hour car ride to Disney! We were so proud of him!

And that is Brewer at 2… & three quarters!
We love our Brew Bear more than words could ever say in a blog post!
*Find me back on the blog, tomorrow!*
