Hello blog fam!
I hope everyone is having a great week!

It’s time for a quarterly blog post featuring all things…
“Life Lately!”

Since my last, “life lately” post at the beginning of summer, we have soaked up ALL of the summer sun & made the sweetest summertime memories!
Read all about it, here:

We also had the best week of vacay over the summer during the week of July 4th!
Find that, here:
Our family of 3 takes on IOP-2023!
Fun fact: after the BEST week of vacay, we came home to our AC not working. From the moment we opened the door, you could feel the heat. So we were without AC for a few days and we thought our entire unit would have to be replaced. Thankfully after getting a second opinion, our AC was back up and running without replacing the unit! Talk about reality after vacay! Lol

Toward the end of summer, Brewer transitioned to a big boy bed! He had been watching us work in his new toddler room and one night, he requested to sleep in that room! After a couple weeks of getting him adjusted to it, he now sleeps in the new bed all through the night, every night! We are SO proud of him!

One of us lays with him each night and at nap time until he falls asleep! It’s the sweetest thing ever when he reaches for my hand.

We bought a training potty + the little potty patrol book over the summer in hopes to begin potty training when he’s ready! To be honest, it’s become more of a gradual thing vs. a weekend crash course of potty training! Ha.
He has shown signs of being interested in it, so he now wears pull- ups! His weekday church program has also been helping with potty training. He “tries” to potty multiple times throughout the day and we have had several successful attempts!
I think we’re getting closer to maybe trying a weekend of full- force potty training! We just wanted him to be ready and we’re definitely getting there. It would be a bonus to have him potty trained by the time little brother arrives! So we’ll see!!

Football season is back in season! We ended summer and began all things back to school by attending the panthers training camp that is held locally here in Spartanburg each year!

Brewer moved over to the 2K room with all of his friends!

He has been living life in the 2K room! He plays outside, they have a PE day, a music day, he paints, colors, plays with water toys, and all sorts of fun things! He’s always SO excited to tell us about his day and these sweet pictures make my day! 🙂

Here he is on a Friday morning at home with me while I worked! I love that sweet boy so much!

We spend a lot of time in Clover where I grew up! My family is mostly there, so we go there often, especially now that we have kids! Brewer loves all the family time with cousins, Nana, and Papaw! Clover is only an hour away!
This is a Saturday that we went to town for my brother’s birthday and we got to see his church softball game. Brewer loved playing in the dirt on the field after the game! I can’t wait to be a little T-ball mom one day!

Brewer has also become our little grocery shopping helper.

I grocery shop on Sundays (mostly at Lidl- my favorite!) and if we go right after church, Brewer & Harry tag along! Brewer is obsessed with pushing his own little buggy!
Is it wild? Yes! But they’re only little once! Let your little ones help. 🙂

We kicked off all things fall with a night of decorating the house, baking pumpkin spice cookies, and watching the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. A family tradition!

I love my little kitchen helper!
Shop our kitchen toddler tower!

And I love a cozy house decorated for fall!

We have been loving all of our fall traditions so far this season!

We also had a weekend getaway with the fam to Southport, NC!
Catch the recap, here:

My mom & Mike (Nana & Papaw) came to town for Grandparents Day! It made Brewer’s day to see them at his school. They took him back to Clover afterwards for a fun day!

We love that the weather is cooling off!! We spend lots of afternoons at the park.

One of my dearest friends, Emily had her sweet precious baby, Annie Beth! I loved visiting and snuggling this sweet baby. Our bachelor nights just got sweeter!

I snapped this photo recently at dinner. Brewer only wanted to sit in his high chair if Buzz could sit with him. Lol, toddlers are fun!

Brewer has also become obsessed with checking the mail each day. He shouts, “tunkin tunkin” when he sees the pumpkins by the mailbox. He is obsessed with pumpkins this season!

I am loving my quiet times with Jesus outside in the fresh crisp fall air.. literally, it’s my favorite!

We are also loving all of the fall meals around here.
I recently did a blog post featuring how we meal plan. Catch it, here:
Tell all Tuesday: Meal Planning

My bestie AnnaVee & I got dressed up to go celebrate our girl, Kandace’s birthday at her new farm house. Such a fun girls dinner outside this fall season!

Our latest fall adventure was a visit to Bush N Vine while we were in Clover last weekend! It’s the cutest local pumpkin patch. Brewer was proud of the pumpkin we picked right off the vine to bring home and add to our porch collection!

We are trekking along through pregnancy with our second baby boy!
We are 27 weeks (28 this Friday) and officially in the third trimester!
Catch my latest baby blog post with a second trimester recap: here!

Look at this sweet precious gift my coworker, Lesley handmade for baby! Cue the tears!! This meant so much to us because this baby was for sure, prayed for and prayed for!

Monday night of this week was extra special! We did a fun 3D/ 4D ultrasound to check on baby, just like we did with Brewer in the 3rd trimester. Baby looks great and it melted my heart to see Brewer waving and blowing kisses to, “his baby!”
We came home to all of the cows & babies on the meadow! What a view!!

The babies are new around here!

And that sums up life lately!

We are looking forward to our upcoming Disney trip this season with my entire fam!
I wanted to plan a special trip for Brewer before baby arrives and it’s a bonus that my entire family is coming too!!
We are going for a long weekend this fall, 4 days/ nights! We have the day we arrive to explore + 2 park days with a rest day in between!
We think that will be the perfect “first Disney trip!” for the kids ages (& this pregnant mama!)
I love fall & Halloween SOO much and I can’t wait to celebrate the season at Disney!!! It’s going to be so special experiencing it all through Brewer’s eyes! I’m so giddy about it all!

We are just loving, loving this fall season!!
Fall is our favorite season!
Thanks for stopping by for my, “life lately” post!
*I will be back here, tomorrow!*
