Hello sweet friends!
Can y’all believe, it is September?! I just love this time of year SO much!
This year is extra special because every time the calendar flips to a new month, we are one month closer to welcoming another sweet, baby boy to our family!

I have always dreamed of being a mommy! Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to grow up and be a mommy! These baby boys are making all of my dreams come true!
I am currently 25 weeks pregnant so today, I thought I would do a little mid pregnancy/ baby update with a fun Q & A with some of the questions I’ve been getting lately!
Here we go:
1. By far the most asked question is, “Do y’all have a name picked out?” I am so excited to say that yes, baby has a name!! In the beginning, we were referring to him as “no name baby.” Lol. But not anymore! We refer to him by name daily at home!
God revealed baby boy’s name to us and we love it so much!
I said this in the beginning BUT because I make so much of my life public here on the blog (which I LOVE) plus there are very FEW surprises left in life, we decided to keep baby boy’s name a surprise until he’s born.. just like we did with Brewer! ❤
2. How are you feeling? I’m okay! I felt nauseousness in the first trimester but once that was over, it was smooth sailing for a while! I felt amazing!
Some of you may remember this.. while pregnant with Brewer, I had extreme back pain + abdominal pain. It started pretty early on during my first pregnancy. I was able to withstand all of that this time around.. until about two weeks ago. And now it’s back.
It’s basically my body growing, causing my nerves to push against my skin and it causes a burning sensation. It’s always worse after I eat, so I try to just snack and then eat a normal meal at dinner. I get relief laying down!
It’s not near as bad as it was with Brewer but the discomfort is for sure there.
It’s all worth it though!
3. Do you have any cravings?
I can’t say that I’ve had any consistent cravings this pregnancy. With Brewer, I craved cold things- an icee, fruit, etc. I was craving those things again this pregnancy in the early days but lately, there haven’t been any.
4. Where do you shop for maternity clothes?
The seasons have aligned perfectly where I’m pregnant the same time of year as I was with Brewer. So I’m wearing some of the same things as last pregnancy. Most things come from Target. I love their maternity section. Nicer dresses come from Pink Blush Maternity. My sister gave me some things that she had while pregnant, too. I also just wear a lot of my normal clothes, like flowy dresses that are in my closet!
(Side note: Baby clothes are also going to align with the same season! I have kept ALL of Brewer’s stuff and he was a January baby. Baby boy #2 is due in December so all of the seasonal clothes will align perfectly which I am SO excited about! I can’t wait to bring the boxes of baby clothes down from the attic!)
5. Are you going to breastfeed? Just like with Brewer, I will 100% try. It only lasted about a month or two with Brewer because my body just did not produce. I’m okay with that and whatever happens this time too! Either way, I’m bonding with baby!
6. Do you think Brewer understands what is happening? In the beginning, I would have said, probably not. But now I think he does understand. Every night, he hugs my belly and kisses baby goodnight! Or as Brewer says, “bebeee.” It is SO sweet!! Literally melts me right into a puddle every single night!
7. What about the dogs? I have no idea! They both love to be near me, especially Nash. He is my literal shadow. I think Ace knew the first time around because he’s older and has been around a long time. I think Nash is maybe picking up on it more this time?!
8. Are you nervous about giving birth this time around? Not really! Just like the first time around, the more pregnancy progresses, the less nervous I feel and the more ready/ excited I am! Plus I know what to expect. Of course anything can happen- no two birth stories are alike. But I feel more comfortable with being in the hospital and things I know that are coming!
9. Have you felt him kick? Yes!! Gosh! It’s so sweet! He moves ALL the time. I think I felt him kick around 20 weeks for the first time but I was feeling the little butterfly feeling before that! The movements came quick this time around!
10. Will this be your last baby? I sorta answered this question in my blog post when I announced we were pregnant but.. to be determined! We’re not putting too much thought into it at the moment. We just want to focus on being parents of two right now! 🙂
