Hello blog fam!!

It’s hard to get back into the weekly rhythm after a Labor Day weekend!!

We had the BEST 3 day weekend with my family! We did a little getaway to Southport, NC and today I’m back to recap the trip!

We arrived in Southport Friday evening!

The cousins were ready for a weekend of fun!

My brother in law grew up going to Southport year round and he & my sister spend lots of time there now. This is how we landed on the destination!

We immediately put on our pumpkin pajamas for the September 1st occasion!

We made dinner at the house on Friday evening and had a fun night hanging with the fam!

Saturday morning, all 3 cousins were in the pack in play, playing together!

We made breakfast at the house, then we were ready for a day on the town!

Southport is the cutest little coastal town right on the water! It’s quite literally a storybook town. Lots of Nicholas Sparks books/ movies were filmed/ based here!

We had fun shopping around town! Everything is right by the water!

When in Southport… I LOVE the Christmas store in this town! It’s just so festive & cute!

We took the kiddos out to the peer where there were lots of fishermen showing off their fish they caught!

And 24 weeks pregnant!

After a day on the town, we went back to the house so the babies could all nap.

That evening, we headed back out for dinner at Mr. P’s!

After dinner, we had another late night hanging in our pjs back at the house!

Sunday morning we headed out for brunch!

We ate at a place called Oliver’s with a waterfront & boat view!

Brunch fun!

After brunch, my mom, sister, & I did some more shopping! I did a little bit of Christmas shopping on this trip too which was fun!

Then we headed over to the beach for the afternoon/ evening!

Southport is by the water but to have a big beach area, we drove over to Caswell beach, about 10-15 minutes from Southport! I loved seeing the lighthouse on the beach!

The water felt amazing this first weekend of September!

The kiddos chased birds down the beach (Brewer’s favorite thing!), chased waves..

..and built sandcastles!

It was such a fun beach day!!

There’s truly something special about being on the beach in September!

That night, we got cleaned up from the beach and made scallops for dinner (so yum!)

Monday morning, we headed home with full & happy hearts! It was a fun Labor Day weekend with the fam!
