Hello!!!!

It’s Friday Eve!!!

Ahhh! They just hit so differently during the school year! 🙂

We have been celebrating all things, “back to school” over the past couple of weeks! I always take a work week “off” from blogging & social media during the month of August to focus on all the school things + spend time with family!

With that being said, I’m taking next week off, so there won’t be a “What I wore Wednesday” post or a “Fab Friday” post this month! No worries though, I still have some fun blog content left for the month of August…

These are probably my favorite posts each month because I get to ramble about all the things that are currently happening in life! It’s fun to look back and see the random things we were up to!

Starting with…

This Week: Brewer started 2K!!! More like, just hopped over to the “two year old room” at his sweet, weekday church program! Read more about that & things from our week, here:

All things, Back to School

Looking forward to: This!! PUMPKIN EVERYTHING!! Fall is my favorite season of all and the countdown is on to have a pumpkin in every corner of my house lol!

Currently dreading: There are two types of people and this is me! Ha. Don’t get me wrong, I am very type A about being organized but other things like this… does not bother me at all! I’m going to drive until I know I cant. Last time I turned the car off, this was my situation, so I know where I’ll be going next time I turn the car on. I’m dreading it. I hate stopping at the gas station!! I just do!

Reminiscing on: Baby is starting to kick!! It takes me right back to those moments when I was pregnant with Brewer! It’s the best part of pregnancy!

When baby kicked for the first time (about a week ago) I was laying in bed and I had just read a devotion about how God shows us His love, then bam- kick, kick, kick. It was a God moment that I’ll never forget! Nothing says God loves us and hears our prayers more than feeling a kicking baby growing inside!

Watching/ reading: Let’s talk about what I’m watching. I’m still watching Charity’s season of the bachelorette and now, the golden bachelor is the “new buzz.” I’ll say I thought it was weird at first but after hearing this man’s story.. gosh! It pulled at my heart strings. Now I think I’ll be watching it! What are your thoughts?

Listening to: No shame! I am listening to all of the bachelor podcasts right now too, lol. It’s fun getting different takes on the current season, which I’m loving by the way! Charity’s season has truly been about the love story and less about everything else.

What’s on the Menu: We have cooked a little bit of everything this week! Sunday night we had, chicken paprika (not pictured.)

Monday night, we had baked spaghetti for All things Back to School! (Find the recipe there!)

Tuesday night, I made a chicken Caesar salad!

Last night, we had shrimp caprese angel hair pasta! This was a Pinterest recipe that can be found, here!

And tonight, I plan to make salmon & veggies!

I’m loving: ALL THINGS DISNEY! We wanted to take a special trip with Brewer before little brother’s arrival so we planned a Disney trip and my entire fam is coming with us, this fall!I’m SO excited!! I’m researching all the things, planning all the outfits, and listening to all the Disney soundtracks! I’m loving all things Disney related!

This Weekend: Football season is back!! Harry wants to go to his alma mater’s first home game tomorrow night so that’s where we will be! We will see family this weekend too!

Bible Verse: I wanted to end today’s post with a Bible verse about joy! I hope you are filled with so much joy this Friday Eve that truly only comes from Him!
