Wow! Is it really August?!
We treasure summertime around here- slow schedules, more daylight, all the outdoor fun, trips, and more!
We’re still soaking up the last few weeks of summer in the month of August, while also getting into our school year groove!
Today, I’m going to recap all the joys of summer, 2023!
These sweet summertime memories with my baby boy are everything…

Summer really began around memorial weekend! You can read all about our holiday weekend, here:

We made lots of trips to Clover this summer! The local splash pad back home is a summertime favorite!

Brewer & I made our own garden sensory bin this summer.

We took a day trip to Rutherfordton to explore our bestie’s new town!

We attended story time at the library with our sweet friends, Eli & his mommy!

Brewer & Eli are such sweet friends!!

We also announced baby #2 at the beginning of summer:

We had our very first appointment (and several appointments since then) to check in on baby!

Harry & I had a fun date night out to dinner and see Lady A in concert. We found out the gender of baby #2 that night!

It’s a boy!!! We are SO excited to see Brewer with a brother!

We had lots of fun lake days!

We took several trips to Pelicans- summer favorite!

We had another fun day with Eli & Jessica at the local Tiger River splash pad!

We truly had the BEST week of vacay this summer in IOP!

We also celebrated July 4th while on vacation this year! It was a trip to remember!
Our family of 3, takes on IOP- 2023!

We love our summer walking/ play dates with Emily & Tucker at the park near our houses!

We had lots of summer fun right here at home too, including icecream on the front porch..

..the front yard splash pad..

..and backyard fun in the playhouse!

We had a play date here in the backyard with both Emily’s and their sweet boys, Judson & Tucker! It was the cutest thing watching them all run around in diapers!

Brewer & I went to Barnes & Noble one morning to look at books in the kiddie corner and buy a few for our collection at home.

I went to my second country concert this summer with friends and my sweet cousin, Sara to see Luke Combs! We had the best time at Bank of America stadium even though the concert was delayed for two hours due to rain. It turned into the best girls night!

Emily & Judson surprised us with a visit one morning when they happened to be in our area! We had fun strollin’ around the meadow.

Lunch date with “DaDa” at Chipotle- Harry’s favorite!

We visited my sister’s neighborhood pool!

On a rainy day, we built an indoor tent!

We had lots of ice-cream dates this summer! Sorbet for me… the best! I’ve always preferred that or an icee over regular ice-cream. Anyone else?!

We ate lots of dinners outside, per Brewer’s request!

I loved having lunch dates with Brewer this summer, especially at Garner’s Natural Foods!

Soooo many park dates. We have about 3 favorite parks that we rotate through and love around town!

We always have fun at the Children’s Museum.

We visited the Children’s Museum in Greenville too with Mason & AnnaVee.

A morning was spent at Strawberry Hill getting peaches to bring home and make a peach cobbler.

My 32nd birthday was spent at the lake this summer and dinner with my boys!

We celebrated all of the family July birthdays in Clover!

I saw the new Barbie movie twice! Once with AnnaVee and Natalie.

And again with Emily!! Both times were a fun girls night out!

Brewer had his first round of swim lessons this summer! We did “Mommy & Me” swim lessons at the local Y and it was so special & fun! I will treasure those sweet memories with Brewer forever! He learned how to blow bubbles in the water, kick his hands & feet, and jump in holding Mommy’s hands!

And lookie who learned to sleep in a big boy bed! Read more about that and the latest things that Brewer has learned, here:

We went back to the Tiger River splash pad with DaDa!

And we kicked off all things back to school by having the Panthers come to town and attending their local training camp!
It has been a summer to remember!
I will treasure these hot summer days filled with all the fun, forever and ever!
We’re going to enjoy the last few weeks of summer and then…. FALL, the best season of all! Lol
I’m a summer girl because I was born in summer and I love all that it’s about! With that being said, fall is still my favorite season of all time! I’ll save all the fall talk for a few more weeks and leave y’all with this..

Okay, I’m done lol!
I’ll see y’all back on the blog, Monday!
