Baby Must Haves

HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

I hope you all had a GREAT week!

The spring like weather this week was AMAZING!

Brewer & I spent a lot of time outside!!

It has me looking forward to all things spring! I think I will spend the weekend, putting some spring touches around the house! 🙂

~

Okay, so today I wanted to talk about some, “baby must haves.” Brewer is officially a month old (more on that here: Brewer: ONE month old!) so I’m going to list some baby items today that we have found SUPER helpful over the past month!

Baby Lounger

This has been a life saver!! We use it ALL the time. It’s a great way to safely co- sleep. Right now, Brewer sleeps in a bassinet in our room. In the mornings though, when Brewer is going back to sleep after a feeding and needs to be close to his momma, we use this! It’s basically like a dock a tot but WAYYY more affordable!

Baby Swing

Brewer LOVES his baby swing! It swings side to side or it can be adjusted to swing front to back. It also plays music. Brewer will lay in his swing while content and often times, takes naps in his swing. We love it and found it to be a really affordable baby swing!

Kick and Play Piano Gym

This is one of Brewer’s favorite toys. Of course, he can’t do much “playing” quite yet but he loves to lay under the toy bar and just stare. Meanwhile, I play the piano/ music for him. I think this will be a favorite in the months to come, as well.

Velcro Swaddles

These velcro swaddles are AMAZING! Brewer was finding ways to kick through all of his swaddles but these keep him all warm and snug. They are so easy to use! They also make life easy for dads. Lol, Harry always asks me, “where are the velcro swaddles!” Haha!

Baby Monitor

Looking for an affordable baby monitor? Look no further! I LOVE this one. Brewer still sleeps in our room at night but he is learning to take naps in his room during the day. This monitor has been super helpful. It also plays music!

Receiving Blankets

I love these receiving blankets! I love the soft material and the size of them. They have so many purposes- swaddling, burp cloth, an extra blanket for the stroller/ car seat, etc.

Diaper Caddy

You can never have too many baskets like this to store baby items!! This diaper caddy can be used on a changing table, in a closet, or in another room. In the nursery, I keep diaper changing materials in a dresser drawer right under the changing pad. I use this diaper caddy in our room since Brewer currently sleeps in a bassinet in our room. I keep it stocked with diapers, wipes, burp cloth, pacis, etc. and it stays right by the bassinet. It makes life easier so I do not have to walk to the nursery every time I need something at night and it also keeps things organized.

Bottle Warmer

WOW! I did not know how handy this would be and we use it alllllll the time. This bottle warmer warms bottles in 2-3 minutes. So quick! Which is great for mommy and baby. I also love how small and compact it is. It does not take up a lot of counter space which is nice. I also use it to clean and sterilize pacis.

Chicco Fit2 Air Car seat

This is the car seat that we have and we love it! I love the material inside, it’s like air mesh. It feels AMAZING! I wanted something that the baby would be comfortable in when he’s all strapped in. This material should keep him nice and cool, especially in the hot summer months. It also has top notch safety measures/ reviews!

Chicco Bravo Air Quick Fold Stroller

Our stroller is also by Chicco. It has that same air, mesh material inside! It pairs perfectly with our Chicco car seat. I love it because the car seat snaps down inside of the stroller SO easy. So when baby is asleep when we get out of the car, I can just snap the car seat into the stroller. I don’t have to disturb baby by getting him out of the car seat. It also opens and folds INCREDIBLY easy. Even my mother- in- law was impressed with how easy it all works!

Okay, I hope this will help another mama out!

If you follow me on IG, you’ll probably see us using these baby items A LOT on my stories!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I’m off to snuggle by sweet boy!
